KYDEX Sheet - 0.080" Thick, Black, 12" x 12", 4 Pack

I this to make pistol pouches to attach to my safe door. The material was easy to work with; just heat it up and form it. If it doesn't form enough, reheat it and try again. Easy to cut, etc. With each sheet I was able to make 4 pouches. I won't hesitate to buy it again.

Excellent for making sheaths and other assorted projects.

Worked like a champ. Pre-cut the shape I was using to wrap a welded extension for my off-road vehicle lights.Kydex is heated in a oven (you can use a toaster oven) @350deg for 1-1/2 minutes. Then wrapped around the form, and I utilized freehand clamps to hold the work as it cooled. After allowing 20 minutes or so to cool, the clamps can be opened and the Kydex will hold. NOTE: I recommend the purchase of a heat gun. If you're doing outdoor work as I was, it cools too quickly and won't conform to your will. The heat gun will allow you to do spot corrections after placement.

As I could not feel the product before buying, they are a little stiffer than I thought the would be, but theywill work just fine, I think? If I order more I will more than likely go for the 0.060 thickness. We will seehow this works out first. Still a reasonable product, at a reasonable price.
