BALEAF Men's Fleece Pants Winter Cycling Pants Mountain Bike Clothing Thermal Cold Weather Running Gear

Great pants for winter cycling.
My first ride wearing these was in 50°F weather and my legs were hot! I think that they will be good down to 32° F and with a good quality base layer underneath perhaps down to 20° ish?I'm 5" 9" tall, 190lbs (yes, I need to shed a few pounds) waist is 36" and chest 42". I ordered a large and they are perfect. They are generously cut around the knees and well tailored overall which allows for great comfort and flexibility while peddling but with no feeling of the material binding or bunching up. However, they don't feel 'baggy' in any way at all... which is a good thing! The bottoms are comfortable around the ankles (and long enough to keep the ankles warm) but they still manage to stay away from the chain guard, which is great!I haven't tried them in the rain and so I cannot attest to how waterproof they are but I feel sure that they will be fine in a light shower or two. They seem well constructed and I would anticipate them lasting for quite a while if worn 2 - 3 times a week. There is enough cut in the back side area that allows me to wear a pair of padded chamois pants underneath them.I'm going to order a second pair. An equivalent pair of pants at a cycle store would cost 3-4 times more but certainly not 3-4 times better quality. If I haven't already mentioned it... these are comfy and warm! The down side is that I have no more excuses not to get out and cycle when it's cold LOL

Very good, lightweight, cold weather pants
These Baleaf cold weather pants are well designed, well made and reasonably priced. The weight of the pants is very light and the choice of fabrics, along with a waffle pattern on the interior, helps maintain warmth. The fit is pretty much as expected. I chose a size small for my 5"5" 140 pound frame. The legs are slightly long, but that helps keep ankles covered when knees are bent on a bike. The rise is on the short side, which I like, but may be tight if you have other gear on underneath. The legs are not skin tight, so there is room for leggings worn underneath. The knee area is designed to allow flexibility. The waist has both elastic and a drawstring. The elastic is not especially strong, but the drawstring provides backup. Ankle zippers allow easier dressing. The logo is prominent and reflective in the front, but not as bad as some other brands. I prefer not to be a billboard. There are other reflective areas too. Overall the style is subdued enough where you don't feel like a clown. Overall, these are basic, quality pants which will keep you warm in cold temps while riding or running, and the price is very reasonable.

Great pants!
I live in a temperate rain forest and our biking is wet, cold, and raw in the fall. These pants seems like a good combination to protect me from the elements. They are fairly heavy and seem well-made. My wife is a seamstress and they passed her brief inspection. When I first put them on, the pants seems a bit stiff. This has gotten better after wearing them a few times. They are very soft inside. I am 5' 6" and 170 lbs with very heavy legs. Mediums are often tight on me but I didn't want all the length so I went with them. The are a bit snug but I like the fit. I can put a thermal underwear underneath without problems. The first thing I noticed when riding was how warm the pants were. I rode in a pretty steady rain....a test of their water resistance! When I got home and took them off they were just a bit damp inside. I thought it was from leakage but realized that I was sweating. Overall I love these pants and would buy them again in a heartbeat. The only potential negative is that they are not very breathable. I would do 4.5 stars if it was available.

very well made and warm
Nice pants for colder rides. Could use a little different pocket design but that`s just me. Very well made. Sizes are true as well. I use X large and wear 36 x 24 pants.

The only winter workout pants you need!
These are simply the best winter cycling and workout pants around. I live in Denver CO and use them all winter to cycle, run and even ski. They are warm, flexible, very water-resistant and quite durable. I own several pairs and love them!

Comfortable
These are so comfortable. Love the waistband. The insulation keeps you warm to 30-40 degrees F. Colder than that I would maybe add a pair of long underwear. I owned another pair of these, possibly from a different company but constructed the same and they have lasted for years. Watch any excess material around the drivetrain as my old pair got caught in the chain. A velcro strap will take care of that problem. Keeps me riding in less than ideal conditions.

Very warm!
I bought these pants because some of the other reviews say they are warm, and I commute via bicycle year-round in all sorts of weather (including well below freezing and sometimes, though rarely and much less fun, below 0 °F). Despite looking a bit then, they are very warm -- so warm that I'll actually start sweating if I wear them in "warmer" weather (40s?).They have a bit of a "windbreaker" feel with a sort of quilted fleece lining. However, they are a tad thicker than most windbreakers, though not as thick as most sweatpants -- but again, probably still warmer than both. They are also fairly snug through the leg and ankle, which is great for cycling (no need to use a pant clip or tuck it into your socks, though I suppose you still could to be extra-sure).

Great overall, but possible QC issue with windproofing
I've used these pants on about ten 10-15 mile rides now in temperatures ranging from 28-50°F. I was previously wearing 4 layers to stay warm and I'm never going back after trying these. They work great and are almost too warm for anything above 45°F or so, at least in my case. I stay moving so I get pretty toasty. The windproofing and insulation work very well for the most part and I believe I just got a pair with some QC issues. The only area that does a poor job of blocking wind is where the left leg zips up. It's bearable, but I've started wearing thermal compression leggings under the pants for temps around or below freezing because catching some chilly breezes isn't ideal. I'd try to return them for a replacement, but it's not worth the hassle to find out if it's just my pair with this problem.

size bigger then listed
I'm 5'8, 160lbs, got the Large one and it was too long. Changing it for a medium. The quality of the product is very good.

These are amazing pants for the cost. Bought them for my new e-mtb so perfect for riding in the cold and also for weight workouts at the gym. Well made of good materials and look great. Perfect fit (5'10'.180. lbs. and ordered large). So good i ordered a second pair.

Absolutely excellent quality - superb value for money.
These are really comfortable, come up exactly to the size chart and are warm, waterproof and look pretty cool too. You can easily pay 150 quid for a pair not nearly so good. Very strongly recommended.
