KS ExaForm Speed Up Hydro Dropper Seatpost - 30.9mm, 150mm, Black

I installed this on an NCM Moscow Plus e-bike that I use to commute on in very hilly/ small mountainous terrain in West Virginia. Most of the several routes I use contain at least one long descent of a mile or more. It's on those that I drop the seat using this post. It makes a very big difference for speed and confidence and handling that you know about if you have used a dropper. But this is a route that I know and am familiar with; I know the descent is long and I plan the 10 seconds or so needed to take a hand off the handlebar and use this dropper. That's the limitation with this product -- it would be nearly impossible to practically use in a constant fashion on rough terrain. However, there is an upside to this limitation: there is no cable and no cockpit space needed by a remote switch.For this type of limited use scenario, this dropper is just fine and an economical option. It would NOT be a viable choice for any type of serious off-road mountain biking. I can imagine that it would work on a gravel bike that was used in a similar scenario to my commute, but that would be the farthest limit of it's off-road capability.I give this product five stars in its very limited niche with one star off because that niche is so limited.

When I first bought this post it was very slow up and down. Took a lot of force to get it down and had to pull it back up. I unscrewed the bottom when the post was extended and then dropped the post and added some grease to the shaft and put it back together. Works great now. I use this on one of my backup bikes. I recommend it but make sure to add some lube to the internals, takes 5 minutes. For reference I own 3 other brands including Fox Transfer, Giant Contact and Crank brothers kronolog. I’m no expect on droppers but from the ones I own this is as good as the crank brothers and giant posts. Not near as good as the fox.

Great product for the money. Can stick if cold or hasn’t been used for a while. Probably needs a little extra grease to assist, but works fine for me. Good option for those of us who can’t afford a $200 dropper post.

I like a lot the fact that I can raise the seat for longer stretches on the trails where I want to stay seated and give my legs a rest. Its a little sticky to get it down to a height where I want it but when I want the seat out of the way its not a big deal to me if its a little lower that I may want. I put some teflon spray on the post and it is working much better. Compared to the really expensive internal cable droppers this is great and so much easier to install.

Even when locked out has some give. Creaks occasionally, raising and lowering it again will stop the creaking. Overall not terrible, but take a hand off the handlebars to activate sucks.

I am 5’10” and have a medium size rei co-op bike. This looked like a great product but unfortunately I am not tall enough to use this on my bike. When I put the post in it was obvious that unless I was at least 6’ 3” this would not work on my bike.

The media could not be loaded.  最近E-MTBを購入して、近郊の林道のオフロード走行に対応出来るドロッパーシートポストを探してました。ドロッパーシートポストとしては一般的な、上下に作動させるレバーをハンドルに付けて操作するタイプが理想ではあるのですが、フレーム内にワイヤーを通したりする作業がチョット大変そうだったので、他のタイプを探してこの商品を見つけました。製品の質感はとても良く、レバー操作の感触や動作も安心感が有り動作も安定しています。他にもう少し安価な商品も有ったのですが、そちらはシートの前後チルト調整が出来ないタイプだったので、こちらを選択しました。レース等に使うには高速走行で操作時に片手をハンドルから離してレバーを操作する必要が有るので、ちょっと不安定かもしれませんが、トレールラン的なオフロード走行でシートの上げ下げをを行う場合には、少し速度を落とすか一旦停車して操作すれば大丈夫だと思います。オフロード走行以外のロードバイクやクロスバイク等へも装着すれば、街中の信号待ちなどの一旦停止時にサドルに座ったままだと足付きが不安定な場合でも、このドロッパーシートポストが有れば停車前に下げておけば余裕で足付き出来て。再スタート時に又サドルを上げれば適正シート高さでペダリング出来るので、有効なパーツだと思います（重量の増加の懸念は有りますが、その分を差し引いても恩恵は大きいと思えます）。実際私の所有するクロスバイクに追加購入したて装着しましたが、とても使い勝手が良くてこちらも満足度は高いです(^^)v私自身はあまりEXAFormというメーカーを知らずに購入したのですが、この会社は自転車関連のパーツを製造している台湾の会社のようで、検索すれば他にも多くの自転車関連のパーツが確認出来ますので結構実績有るメーカーのようです。
