Thick, soft, beautiful, great quality!Arrived rolled up so there was no unsightly creases. It was a bit dusty due to the wool, so I took it outside and shook it a few times, then vacuumed well. It hasn't really been shedding, only when vacuumed, but that's to be expected for a bit until the loose wool settles down. Amazon photos make the color look lighter then it actually is, however, customer photos look truer to the rug.I just ordered a 3x5 Sefevieh wool carpet of the same weight of texture for another part of the house! :D

The rug is nice and thick and the price reasonable. It's wool, not polypropylene. The downside is (as the manufacturer warns) color shift. The color is more dark and less vibrant than the illustration. I bought the 4 x 6 foot version. As a general rule, rugs are not something you buy over the internet unless you have to, though if you have no other choice, Amazon makes it easy to return things. For my next rug purchase, I'll have eyes on the rug.

Rug does not measure as described and advertised. Came with a hole in it (I assume that’s due to shipping). It’s pretty and very soft. But not the size rug I ordered…..

I am quite pleased with my new rug. I have a few Safavieh rugs, have never regretted a purchase. They are soft, thick, nice under foot. Settle down quickly when laid out. Yes, they shed at first, but they are wool! This one was not quite the blue I wanted, has teal hue to it, but runner looks nice in my hallway.Price was great too.

This is my third Safavieh rug in 3 yrs. Was happy with the quality of the first two. No smell, pilling or shedding of fibers. Lays flat with no sliding on floor. They are holding up so far to my two large dogs' foot traffic. The dye batches seem to be different on each one though. This one is a med. blue that matched my Amazon screen color, with light gray not beige or cream-colored accents. My first rug, which said it was from Turkey, was a soft fiber, this one from India seems to be stiffer, slightly more scratchy fibers. Not as gentle on bare feet, but the dogs don't care.**UPDATE: After 3 1/2 months of use, this new rug is beginning to "pill". There are small fibers sticking up everywhere making it look as if there is lint all over it. The fibers are not loose, they don't pull out. I snip off the excess of each fiber with a scissors. Sorry to see that the quality is no longer there as it once was, but the price was right.

Purchased the 6x9 rug last week and totally LOVE it. Rich, warm colors true to my computer screen. I have been shopping in person and on the net for the past six months, determined not to regret a hasty purchase. This rug is perfect in every way. It keeps my furniture from scooting around, protects my hardwood floor, adds pop(without being garish) and warmth to my living room, well made, and cushy under foot. I had read so many customer reviews complaining about rugs being dirty, poorly packaged, emitting a foul odor, permanently wrinkled and not the correct size from a number of online sites and various manufacturers I was a bit worried. No need to be this was a terrific buy! Pair it with the recycled felt pad also bought on Amazon. Highly recommend!

This is a well made rug with a nice design. My issue is the rug arrived very well and tightly wrapped. When open it had an overwhelming musty smell - more so then you would expect. It might have ben stored in a wet area or should be wrapped when item ia ordered - not before. Took weeks for the smell to dissipate.

First one arrived damaged, looked like a fork truck stabbed it in the warehouse. I refused delivery and the transaction canceled. Ordered another same day and it arrived in a few days.Size was right, condition was fine and the colors were as expected. I like wool rugs for their thickness, long wear life and color fastness. Five stars.
