Garden Winds Replacement Canopy Top Cover for Tiverton Series 3 Gazebo - Riplock 350 - Cinnabar

Love the colors that are available, perfect fit for a tiverton gazebo...adds contrast to my green yard. Had to take off one star because some of the stitching is frayed...nothing to effect the integrity of the product, but it is mildly annoying..

About every 3 or 4 years I have had to replace the canopy of this gazebo. This one I have had for a couple months now. The fit was perfect, installation was easy. It has held up well under heavy rain, with no drippage except right at the edges where the grommets are. No complaints

Pre-order notes: measure from INNER edge of top frame in each direction. Should be very close to 10' x 12' for best fit. There is not much difference between Triverton Series 1, 2, & 3 frames, esp for replacement canopy fit.Arrived MUCH earlier than predicted (was one week+, arrived in 1-2 days). Upon arrival, very good fit right out of the box! Pleasantly surprised to find each clip attached using an elastic band (see photo) for ease in stretching into position. The canopy itself is also a little bit stretchy so it is a nice tight fit when installed.Shortly after install, we found several of the clips had worked loose - out of the small hole in top of frame - from normal wind. To remedy, we went around the entire perimeter 1) bending the clips from their 90 deg bend into about a 60-80 deg bend using needle-nose pliers and 2) adding a short piece of 3/32" (electric wire) shrink wrap to the end of each clip (heated using a hair dryer) (see picture). Have had no further issues with clips coming loose.

The canopy fits great. It is a little snug in some areas which is great as it makes the fit even better. We love the look and feel.Review updated after two seasons:We purchased this product in June of 2016 and put it up. We took it down at the end of the warm season, made sure it was clean and dry, folded it up and put up until it was spring again. Last year when we put it up, when we went to take it down for the end of the warm season we noticed it had a few tears in the canopy. This season we put it out again at the beginning of the warm season and within two weeks of it being out, a windy day came along (which we have had many throughout having this and it has never caused any issues) and the elastic in the hooks ripped on quite a few of them and the canopy ripped in more spots and it was flapping in the wind. The canopy cannot be used now because it is ripped all over. We didn’t even get to use it for two years and within one year it had rips in the canopy. The original canopy made it longer than this. The canopy also has spots where it was holding water and sagging even though there were rivets to allow water to escape.

This is the second canopy I have purchased and they are great! The first canopy lasted for 3 years before the wind got to it so I ordered a new one. This one was just as easy to install and has already been through some rough weather, 60 mph winds last week and 2 hail storms in the past 2 weeks. Still looks great and all the connectors have held strong.

Cons - The hooks are not bent correctly so they wouldn't stay in the holes. First I put electrical tape around each hook to get them to stay in but the first strong wind blew them all out. Then I had to bend each hook appropriately so they would stay in the holes.We have had rain and strong winds all week and they have held up nicely. It is also tight enough that it doesn't create pockets of water like the other brand I used to buy so I don't have to go out after every rain to get the water off. My favorite thing about this canopy is that the hooks are attached to a flexible material so they stretch easier because the hooks and the holes never line up correctly on all sides. The old one I used to buy would end up ripping when I had to stretch it to the hole.Buying this one again will depend if it lasts more then one season. I will try to remember to update this at that time.

This is the first time we've ordered the red. It looks cool! It feels like a new gazebo. I like how this canopy has the elastic straps. It makes it easier to put on & allows more "give" on windy days. Note - the fabric is not waterproof. That's one thing different about this cover vs. others I've ordered in the past.UPDATE - Late Fall 2015:The red faded like crazy. It was beautiful while it was red. Now it's more of a dark pink.

We bought did not get thru the summer because it shredded. I came home in afternoon and husband threw it out, so did not get anything out of it. I have to buy another because I can't find it anywhere else. I wish the elastic was something heavier, that was the worst of it.
