I'm glad I spent the extra money. The thickness helps reduce temperatures and also makes it insert, stay up, and fold up well. Love it.

It was supposed to fit my new 2021 CX5 Grand Touring Reserve, but it is too wide and too short, plus so rigid it messes up my rear view mirror every time I try to put it up or take it down. I just used it on a parking lot for 2 hours: outside temp was 89°F, I measured my windshield temps at 151°F WITH THE SHADE ON!!!Not worth the $$$ it costs. I am going back to my $5 shade from the local store

This looks and feels like a quality genuine Mazda product. However, this does not fit the 2021 signature trim CX-5 due to the heads up display and windshield rain sensor and rear view mirror. Too tall and too wide.

It's pretty good. Keep my car cooler. Could be easier to fold, but not too difficult. A little pricey for what it is though.I've seen other reviewers complain that it doesn't stand up. You have to flip your visors down to hold it in place (as stated in the directions). It stands up quite well when you do this.

This works perfectly with the CX5 21, I've tried others and this fits the windshield and feels very well made.
