Good for calligraphy practice
You get a good amount of ink for the money and the bottle is easy to pour from. Like all sumi ink it has a bit of a smell to it, but it’s not overpowering. The ink is smooth and dark, it can be used right out of the bottle or diluted with water for shades of grey. I think it’s good value if you’re looking for a decent, easy to use ink for practicing calligraphy or ink drawing.

Chemical oder too strong.
So disappointed I was looking forward to working with this black ink. The chemical odor is very strong. I won't use it again and will discard.
