To sanitize my CPAP equipment to keep bacteria free

It’s a 5 for the product, but the bottle sprayers will NOT work. I had to transfer the contents to an alternate bottle with a decent sprayer to get my cpap sanitized after cleaning. Please tell the company to revisit their sprayers

I believe this cleaner is primarily intended to take the place of CPAP wipes, at least that is what my intention was in purchasing it. And to that end, I am happy with it. As someone who needs to use a CPAP machine, part of my nightly routine is to, after I have used my CPAP device disinfector, to clean the parts of the mask that make direct contact with my skin/nose with a disinfectant wipe. Of late, I’ve had some trouble with these wipes. With some, they dry out too quickly, even when kept in the cannister. With others, the scent is so strong that the mask smells like the cleaning crew just left the public restroom. I like this spray because I just use it on that part of the mask, and, after at least 3 minutes, or just before I go to bed, I wipe the mask again with either a regular wet paper towelette (or regular baby wipes work great) to wipe off any remaining wetness or residue. I do not think my mask has ever felt or smelled cleaner. It’s kind of like a very slight hint of what is left after something is cleaned with ammonia, but not overpowering at all. I am pleased with the product.

Doesn't work on the important parts.

When using a CPAP at home, I have a SoClean to sanitize the unit. I don't want to have to transport that with me during the time I am away from home. This spray does a great job of maintaining the cleanliness of the CPAPs that I travel with. I use it on both my ResMed Mini and the full size unit that I keep in my RV.

I'm pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning my cpap equipment. I wipe it down with wipes most days, and every once in a while I take everything apart and wash it. I love that this is easy to use, it appeals to my lazy nature. Just spray, let it sit, and then wipe it off (assuming you're applying it to something that has already been cleaned, because this is for killing germs).I'm pretty impressed with the list of germs this kills. It has me looking around the house for other things I can use it on... faucet handles, toilet handles, light switches, door knobs, refrigerator door handles.... many things come to mind.

This is a good disinfectant spray that is known to be very effective. Unfortunately, I did not realize until after I ordered that it is specifically listed in my CPAP manual as something not to use with my machine and hose. I have been using it as a general purpose disinfectant spray such as in the bathroom and I am happy with it.
