Great in all sizes!
I always keep 8, 16, and 32 ounces sizes on hand. I avoid filling them with foods that stain plastic, but they're great for everything else. The bowls wash well on the top rack of the dishwasher, but the lids tend to warp a little so I hand wash those (our water is extremely hot so may not be a problem for others). Great in the pantry, fridge, and freezer. Note: frozen deli containers break when dropped.

Good product
Great storage containers but a little expensive! I would order these again if I needed them. I used them for a noodled sale in a boxed lunch!

It's not the NEWSPRING brand
These are just some generic deli containers. They are NOT the pactiv newspring brand at all. no logo on the actual containers nor on the outer packaging. And they are definitely not as good as the new spring ones.

Cheap, compact, strong enough.
I'm quite happy with these. It was hard to tell from the photos, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are what I was hoping they'd be: similar to the containers that my local Chinese restaurants use for takeout soup, except in 1-cup size. The lids are compatible with my existing collection of takeout-soup 4-cup containers of another brand. Compared to rubbermaid type food storage containers, these newspring containers take up less space when stacked empty and are much less expensive. If my goal was to protect the contents of the container from a 6 foot fall, I would trust the rubbermaid type products more. My goal is to reduce leakage and spillage when the containers are jostled around in a backpack, and these newspring containers seem at least as good as the rubbermaid type containers for that purpose. These newspring containers seem stronger and more secure than ziploc type storage containers (I mean the rigid ones with pop-off lids, not bags or the containers with screw-top lids).

while the cup info is easy to read
Cups are Polypropylene (5), lids are LDPE (4). The two are very different, but look and feel alike. Polypropylene can be sterilized in a pressure cooker without damage while LDPE will be damaged. The Newspring/Pactiv product website temperature guide misleads by using the common abreviation "PP" for polypropylene and implies the product will handle the PP temperature range. The fact that the lids are LDPE can be discovered only with a magnifying glass. I wonder why the manufacturer made the lid info difficult to read, while the cup info is easy to read. One might think deception is the reason. I'm trying to think of another. No success, so far. I'll send the 40 sets of cup and lids back to Amazon. The cups and lids are not flimsy. So, 1 star for that.

I stopped using my Reditainers...like these better
I buy lots of these 8 ounce containers, both to serve out samples of my own products, and to keep things organized and fresh around the house. Some buy them for easy preserving or to freeze or measure out servings while on a diet--you name it. If you travel often with your pet, they are also great for toting their food and water easily.Great for kid's lunches as well--they don't break the bank if they lose them.I have given Reditainers 5 star reviews as well and always bought those but saw these for a few bucks less. I actually only bought one sleeve of these at the time and a few more Reditainers--not going back.I like that these are slightly more clear and the lid fits far better than the other brand. In other words, if I stuff this thing FULL, the lid won't pop off. Yet, it removes easily when I lift it (like any Tupperware).I personally use this for fresh product rather than heated or frozen and these look great and work equally well.

Wish I had discovered these years ago!
I ordered these because I was exasperated with not being able to find affordable 1 cup containers lately. These are perfect...and inexpensive! I ordered 80 of them to freeze soups, so I will never have to search for containers again. I was impressed with the weight & quality too, plus lids fit tightly. Didn't mind paying shipping because at less than 30 cents a piece, I couldn't find a better deal. Stop paying ridiculous prices for 4 and 5 pack Ziploc containers and just get these.

I Love Delitainers!
I used to hoard these every time I got one from a takeout place. Finally, I decided to just order my own. I got all three sizes, and I will not ever buy any other kind of storage container again. They last forever, seal completely for carrying around, and go straight from freezer to microwave. And they are cheap enough not to fret about losing. Best of all: NO MORE AVALANCHES!. All three sizes stack perfectly together, and all of the lids are the same size. So they stack and store very efficiently. I threw everything else out because I could not stand opening the cabinet and all of the other containers falling on me or having to hunt everywhere for a single lid. They couldn't be more simple or more perfect.
