Makes iPhone Recording a Breeze
I make talking head reels/shorts for social media and I wanted to use my professional XLR mic for the best audio. The Saramonic paired with a phantom power adapter allowed me to use my iPhone and mic to make crystal clear sounding videos. I recommend this to anyone recording talking head videos using an iPhone.

It’s a mic cable
If you have XLR microphones, plan on shooting things with your phone and want audio that isn’t crappy, get this cable.

Could not get it to work
Cable has no instructions. No instructions online that show and prove it works. Does not record into GarageBand or the voice record iPhone app. Perhaps there's a way to get it to work. I couldn't find it. Cord is narrow and lightning attachment done poorly. It should've worked well and had instructions for a $100 cord.

Best investment
I wasn’t aware that such an item was available. It seems to work best when a mic is place in front of the speaker/monitor. I like this product but I feel it’s a bit overpriced for what it offers

I use it to record on iPhone out of a mult box. It works, but...
I use this to record audio out of a mult box and it definitely works for what I need it for. But there's one caveat: for some reason, a weird electronic interference intermittently pops up. This has happened in multiple scenarios.Fortunately, I'm not using the audio for anything other than transcribing events from the audio on my phone. But if you're planning to record from a mult box and then use that audio in your production, I'd consider a backup option because I pretty regularly get this weird noise. That said, it's an ingenious idea & it gets the job done for me.

created a hissing sound
Had to return it because no matter what I tried it created a hissing sound that ruined the audio. Ended up just sticking with using my mic and editing my video over my audio on my computer.
