Amazing Outdoors Watch!
Rugged, lightweight and reliable watch! Very contrasted and legible watch face with thick white hands and large contrasted LCD screen. The LCD can display day/date permanently (always accurate, unlike analog day/date watches that miss the date every other month), another time (independent from the analog watch) or a second time zone. The watch face has full illumination with indiglo, including the LCD! (Most Casios don’t offer illumination on both LCD and analog at the same time)The rotating Bezel is unidirectional and has very satisfying clicks for every second.Measuring 41mm in diameter (bezel) with a 20mm watch band width, the watch is just the right size to fit perfectly in average wrists. Not too small and not bulky (like most outdoor watches unfortunately). It pairs very well with the Suunto compass wrist band attachment (sold separately on Amazon, see pictures). In conclusion, an amazing reliable watch for all adventures!

I don't wright reviews... But this is something special
This watch has all the features I wanted in a simple design. Love the numbers clearly listed with the straight, somewhat narrow hands. Very easy to read. Size is perfect; It doesn't look like a speedometer on your wrist which most watches try to copy. You can rotate the bezel which acts like a stopwatch for the analog display. There's 2 different stopwatch functions, time 2, countdown, alarm, and a clear digital display. You can even choose if you want the digital to display only date by holding the top right botton.I don't want to read off the box, but the amount of features this watch has it's price point is competitive. If you wanted a watch similar to this you'd be spending well over $160. It seems they also are not making them anymore? Their sold out everywhere. If they don't make them anymore, you'll see a few on ebay for close to $200 in a month. Are they worth that much? No, not at all. They are a bit plastic'y? Doesn't bother me at all. Same you'd expect in any plastic watch made in AsiaGreatly recommend this watch because their is no alternative in style and price at this time. If your budget is vast than maybe look else where. If you want value, this is a great option.

Great watch for the price with a few quirks
First things first, this watch is great value for the price. If you try to compare the competition to get an analog watch, with a chronographs and Day/Date display Timex wins almost every time. And the Indiglo backlight is HUGE because if you get a Timex with a white/light face, the Indiglo backlight is superior to every other backlight there is (Indiglo doesn't work as well on a black face...it works...kinda, but it's 10x better on a white face). Now on the the quirky/issues.1 - whoever developed the CH SPL (chronograph split) timer button presses should be fired. How hard is it to use two buttons to perform a stop watch/lap timer? Button 1 should start-stop, button 2 should do lap/reset the thing back to 0.00. This is standard stuff. Instead they juggle the buttons around and require a button 3 to reset. It is neither intuitive nor practical2 - a 24 hour countdown timer? Who on earth needs this or wants it? Yet it's the second predominant mode on the watch. After goofing around with it for many many tries, it's clearly a very useless feature that nobody in their right mind would try and use. Yes, you can adjust it to countdown from something other than 24 hours, perhaps a few mins, but it will take you 100 button presses and startovers to get it configured properly. I would bet money that not a single user ever uses this feature for anything practical. For some reason, Timez puts this as the second most accessible mode...why? Why?3 - The digital time (and therefore the DayDate) is completely unlinked from the analog time. OK, this is an issue because figuring out how to set the digital and timezone2 times properly is not easy. Again, you will fight and struggle with it. No way you will get it on the first try and I know I will not be able to remember how to do it when Daylight Savings time comes along. I'm guessing that trying to connect these two is quite an engineering challenge and would drive up costs a lot. As an engineer I get that, for a affordable watch they couldn't do it. But if that is the case, you should make changing and understanding how the timezones are viewed and get set much easier and more intuitive. To make matters worse, their online instructions have a silly error in them that tells you that to set the time use button (4), to adjust the mode use button (4) and to change the setting use button (4). Someone obviously copy/pasted and forgot to go back and change the button numbers. Other users have found this documentation screwup and commented on it too, and it's really amazing Timex website still has this error live and nobody has fixed it yet.4 - One other seemingly minor gripe, the outer Bezel only rotates clockwise so you will have to spin it around and around and around extra times nearly every time you set it. This is a "feature" on real dive watches because divers use that bezel to measure their down time and if they accidently bump that bezel they need to have it only rotate in the safe and conservative direction. But here, in this watch, nobody in their right mind is using it for diving..ever...nobody will ever use it for that. So, please let the bezel rotate both directions because frankly, an outer bezel is a very handy way to substitute for a stop watch that is clunky if you are timing something that is less than an hour. Like when you are cooking and just want to mark when you started something...boiled eggs...pasta...flipped the steaks etc. etc. but when you have to spin the bezel around 3 times to get it set you will quickly get very tired of that darn ratchet!Luckily, I just wanted to be able to configure my watch to show DAY - DATE along with the analog time and I was hoping for a chronograph (stopwatch) for those occasions when I time stuff and an outer bezel. This watch delivers all of those, but with quirks. The watch CAN be set to display DAY - -DATE (You have to long press the top right button to get it to stay in DAY DATE mode because it defaults to showing you a digital time which is different than the analog time unless you want to spend an hour trying to get them perfectly sync'd). Along with that you get the Indiglo so when you wake up at night you press a button and your watch face softly glows and you can see it just wonderfully. This watch does do that very nicely and it's easy to read in low light conditions. Very "contrasty", but not goofy looking with strange colors.

Tremendous value for money
Really nicely sized, great design with excellent feature set. I use the countdown timer and stopwatch everyday for intermittent fasting. The watch is extremely lightweight as well.Con - the ticking is loud enough to interfere with reading or sleeping when in a totally silent room. Its also quite cheap and plasticky, which is to be expected given how much it costs. The hands can also cover up the digital display. Its a great watch to see if you prefer an analog-digital format, which I definitely do now. The watch feels like a gateway to things like the more expensive Casio Protrek series.

Not quite as shown
I would have preferred the original band color as shown. Instead, it's a much darker taupe, so doesn't look great with the white face and orange accents. Amazon/Timex, please be consistent with how your merchandise shows!
