ISDIN Night Peel AHA and Glycolic Acid Night Serum Gentle Exfoliation

I did purchase this in order to remove some blemishes from my face. Results after a few weeks are surprising. Never thought I can get results that fast and that good. Of course I use sun blocker more often now in order to avoid these blemishes to come back. A very good product with a very good price

the efficacy of this bc I, unfortunately, didnt notice any difference. I replaced my rx retin A with this for the full 30 days and wasn't impressed.Maybe it's bc i use rx retin A regularly that this product didnt have any "work to do". I dunno.One thing i will say is the glass ampuals left much to be desired. Some days i had zero issue opening them with a clean break, other days it would break off in a jagged fashion.I hope my humble opinion and experience has helped you in some way.Thank you for reading.

ISDIN ISDINCEUTICS Night Peel, Exfoliating Night SerumProbably the worst thing about this serum is having to open the ampules and probably the best thing about this serum is the ampule that helps keep the ingredients fresh and at their best. The 30 ampules come with a plastic topper to open. It is simple to open, just place the plastic protector down as far as you can and push away from you. You should hear a SNAP! and the top will pop off. There is also a plastic collar so you can safely apply the serum to your face.I have been applying this to my face for the last week and while, it has done a great job at getting rid of dry skin and making my skin softer, it does cause a bit of irritation so I am reducing the use of this to every three days. I have a major issue with this serum and that is the price. I think that there are other BHA/ACA peels like the Ordinary that work just as well and are a much better value. This goes on feeling like lightly scented water but after 2 weeks I can see and feel improvements in my skin. Didn’t notice any obvious peeling. The covers fit tightly over the ampules so they dont leak. To open, grab the top and shake down once so all the fluids in the bottom. Clutch the center with tissue or alcohol wipe so you don’t get cut and snap it in half. The cover slips on easily and makes it easy to squeeze just the amount you want into your hand. Recomended!

You get 30 ampules in this set, but it is actually a 60 day supply because one ampule is 2 uses. You use half an ampule per application and that is plenty to do face, neck, and chest.It is runny like water, so it spreads a lot and you can cover a lot of area with it.It is even recommended to use any leftover on your hands.I feel like the ampule method is a pain in the rear.It comes with a little plastic piece to pop on the top to break the ampule open. Then you slide on the applicator top.Sliding the applicator top on isnt as easy or efficient as it should be. It doesnt form a very tight seal to the glass and tends to work it's way off while trying to use it. You have to squeeze the applicator tip to get it to draw up and dispense the serum. Squeezing it tends to loosen it from the ampule and then it leaks.You use half, and then store the rest with the applicator tip and cap on it. It is good for 48hrs, so you have to make sure to use it the next night.It works as good as any other decent overnight peel. I didnt see any particularly fabulous results.It does help texture and makes the skin feel super smooth on the first night of use, but my other peels do that too, without the hassle of the ampules.What bothered me the most with it is how my face felt like it sticks to my satin or silk pillow cases. That part really annoys me and makes me want to go wash it off my face, but I just try to ignore it and fall asleep. It's kind of odd because you dont actually feel it on your face. If you touch your skin, you dont feel a residue or tackiness etc., so it just seems odd to stick to the pillow cases like that and I know it is definitely from this product because it only happens when I use this and not my other peels or night products.I dont really see a benefit of this peel vs other good brands, especially considering the hassle of the ampules and sticking to the pillow case. It does work really well, but so do my other ones. So, its effective, just a little more work to use and a little annoying to deal with. Skincare products are different for everyone though and you may have a better experience than me. It's not bad by any means, I just wasnt wowed by it, especially considering the selling price.Also keep in mind that you may not be able to use the peel on consecutive nights, so you could potentially be wasting a lot of the product. Everyone's skin is different and you may or may not be able to tolerate it on consecutive nights if you're just starting out with acids or are new to glycolic acid specifically. Glycolic acid is an AHA, so also be sure your other products wont cause issues. Too many acid products will wreck your skin quickly. You can get anything from a little redness and irritation, to actual sores from the acids burning your skin. This product doesnt list a concentration percentage for the glycolic acid, so it's hard to tell how you might react. Generally speaking 10% or less is ok for daily use, and higher amounts only a few times a week, and both situations typically require building up to those frequencies if you're a new user or new to acids.Double up on sunscreen too, as with any acid or skin brightening product because your skin is going to be extra sensitive to sun rays and you will end up with sun damage and brown spots. Even on hazy or cloudy days, you still need sunscreen. The sun is still there, even if not beaming right on you. The rays are still there causing damage.One last thing to point out is that the directions for use are hard to find in English. They're listed in several languages, in very small print on the box and the english version is slapped in the middle of a giant run on sentence of all of them.

It really works. Skin was smoother after a few nights.
