Excellent piece of kit, used for wildlife and landscape photography

Bought this as I was having to swap different plates to use the 200-500 on monopod (Manfrotto) and tripod (Three Legged Thing), so I decided to adopt ARCA-Swiss as standard. I was a bit reluctant to shell out for an unknown brand but it seems well made and robust and fits the Nikkor well. Slightly different feel when using the mount/ foot as a handle to carry the camera/ lens but that is more a function of it being parallel sided for ARCA-Swiss. The original Nikkor foot is slightly tapering and rounded, therefore easier to carry.This is not a big deal and I have already benefitted from changing from tripod to monopod more easily. Time will tell on build quality and robustness with use but so far so good.
