Protection Without Gimmicks
There are few things worse than the product you use to protect your skin from the sun having the adverse effect of breakouts. You feel betrayed by the maker of the product, as did I when I tried another popular brand last summer. To make things worse, I avoided using it on parts of my body where the breakout were at their worst (face and chest) and burned badly one day as a result. Well this summer I went back to using Neutrogena - a brand that has never failed me. Have no plans to stray this time.

Nice sunscreen, use it on my body but also face
The version of this for the face is far pricier, so I went with this and use it mostly on my face. Sinks in well and isn't greasy.

No break outs
Great sunscreen, especially for the hotter summer months. It doesn't clog my pores or leave a white cast.

Not bad
I keep trying fancier sunscreens but keep coming back to this one. It's great if you prefer a matte finish. Just be aware that it does leave some white cast because of the silica. It's only really a problem if you put it somewhere with hair, like a beard, for example.BTW - it's the same exact formulation as the "clear face" spf. The only difference is marketing. Buy this one, it's a better value.

The only sunscreen that does not break me out!
I have oily to normal skin with general sensitivity. The breakout-free Neutrogena sunscreens are the only ones that don't break out my face and body, even with reapplication. I have repurchased several times and highly recommend. There is only a slight white cast left over but here's my hack for no whitecast: apply a small amount to fingers and rub to warm, pat to cover face, then rub to blend in, then repeat with another layer. Perfect for underneath makeup, I usually put it on before primer.

Love this stuff!
I purchased for my recent vacation with lots of outdoor activities. It goes on smoothly and evenly. Yes, there are the typical white streaks right after applying, but they blend in fully very quickly. 2.5 weeks in the sun and did not burn a bit. I'm very fair and I only applied it once a day. Highly recommended!
