Mateo - You earned your 5 Stars… Alpha helped

Vampires, Witches, and Werewolves mixed in with funny banter, a slow-burn to die for, inner monologue that had me cackling, and the fact that werewolves bring the HEAT. This was a solid set-up to the Stay A Spell world with a stellar cast. I can't wait to keep going with the Savoie Sisters!"𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞. A skilled metalwork artist who finds himself cursed and trapped with his wolf, Alpha (yes, that's his name... and for good reason) inside his head. And this wolf is DEVIOUS. He seeks out the help of a certain witch and the closer Mateo gets to Evie, the more his lascivious wolf wants OUT. While Mateo is struggling to restrain his wolf, Evie is struggling to maintain her composure. Can they resist the heat and lift the curse? Found out and read with me... come onnnn. Stay a spell."𝐆𝐚𝐡! Who else wants an Mateo/Alpha?
This book, wow! Witches, vampires, werewolves, grims, and all your other supernaturals with the backdrop of New Orleans is utterly PERFECT! The Savoie sister's are all powerful and their coven controls New Orleans. They have several legitimate businesses, but keeping the supes in line is their lot in life. As Earth witches, their powers are natural and replenished by communing with the elements. Their one rule is, NO WEREWOLVES. So, when Mateo seeks out the sisters because he's unable to shift, he knows he has to bring his "A" game. Evie, second to oldest sister is the most powerful Hex-breaker around, and she's exactly who he needs in more ways than one because once Alpha gets a glimpse of the quirky witch, his mind instantly becomes one track leading to her nether regions. Jules, is who needs to be convinced and she's more agreeable than the sisters expected. Mateo notices that Evie is able to control Alpha more than he can when she's around, and requires/requests her presence more and more. The more they're around each other, the deeper they fall, the Hex/curse is more complicated than originally thought, and someone really has it out for Mateo. My Goodness this book. A 30 year old cat, a bow tie wearing rooster, and a highly inappropriate inner wolf is only the beginning of the yummy goodness and hilarity of it all. There's also Rueben, the vampire king who has a thing for Jules. Why doesn't Clara have a love life? Why does Violet hate Nico and where is she sneaking off to? If you need more reasons to read Wolf Gone Wild...Evie and Mateo's slow burn to full steam is worth the wait!!!

A wolf wants what he wants.
I was captured by the end of the first chapter! Juliette’s writing had me entranced. Evie- the nerdy, powerful witch. Mateo- the artist, hexed werewolf. Alpha- the singleminded wolf that lives in Mateo’s mind.Alpha only wants 2 things…. Blood and Evie. He will annoy Mateo to get what he wants until Evie comes when the wolf is calm.I loved all three of these characters. Alpha had me laughing with his crazy focus for fighting or Evie. Mateos thin hold on him gets tested many times within the book.Onto book 2 to get to know the other Savoie sisters. She was back in her dress and heels, but with my hoodie over it, which hit her at the hem of the dress. She looked ridiculous, but she didn’t care. Neither did I. I only cared that she was warm. The weather had dropped overnight, bringing in a brisk cold front. You kidding me? She looks delicious. She should only wear our clothes from here on out.

A lot of fun
Evie is a likeable main character with a likeable level of sass. The story doesn't make her so sassy she's rude or annoying which I really appreciated. Instead she's funny as is mateo and alpha :)I also particularly enjoyed the focus on a artsy werewolf and art in general in this book. It was just refreshing and the idea that werewolves are given a creative gift with their beast is one id love to see more of!I'm also guessing we'll see some spinoff od the side characters romances but I'm excited for it! The side characters were engaging and interesting as well all the way down to the beloved family cat and rooster lol

Action and More Action!
This book gives you an action packed punch of humor, hot romance and amazing storytelling. We meet Evie (witch) and Mateo (werewolf) who has a big problem. Evie is a crack hex breaker and Mateo needs her services desperately. As this is the first in the series you are introduced to alot of characters, but it all works really well. You do not get confused and every character is so unique and well fleshed out. Evie and Mateo's relationship is very intense instantly sucks you. The mystery keeps you guessing with an intricate plot that won't let you put the book down. The setting is rich with the New Orleans mystique, which makes me wish I could go visit and hang out with Evie and her sisters. I'm really excited for this series and can't wait till the next one comes out.

My new favorite paranormal series!!
This was such a great book! I immediately was sucked into the story and the mystery behind Mateo’s hex. Watching Evie fall in love, & more importantly learn to believe in herself was so amazing.I loved the bond between the sisters, and I can’t wait to read about them more! One thing I absolutely loved about this book is that it feels different from other paranormal books I’ve read before. This was an enchanting start to a series and I can’t wait to devour them in the future!!

Full of perfect magic and romance.
Emerald book reviewsThis was such a marvellous, well written and imagined supernatural story. It was engaging, exciting and enthralling right from the get go. A story full of magic and mischief, romantic love and a beautiful familial connection between the Savoie sisters. The characterisation was tremendously well dobe, each character crafted beautifully, from their idiosyncratic personality traits to their funny and entertaining dialogue and everything in-between.Readers are given, not only an array of engaging and wonderful side players, (who will hopefully appear in their own story) but two exceptional protagonists. They're multifaceted, adorable, sexy, intelligent, witty and utterly charming.Author Juliette Cross has done a remarkable job fleshing out and producing a unique take on the werewolf/witch romance. She has made it fun and flirty but also given it such warmth and heart, mixed in with some truly dramatic and highly effective magic, suspense and Mystery. All of the Savoie sisters have my attention already and this is only book one. I am so excited to see what comes next from this writer. Wolf Gone Wild is definitely one of my top reads for 2020, so far.

Perfect paranormal romance!
Did someone say Supernatural Romance? Urban Fantasy? Yes please and thank you ☺️ I saw a post about this book recently and it sounded like a fun read so after finding it on KU I just had to give it a go!1) Evie is a sassy witch trying to make her own path and own her creativity. If you like a strong female lead she is your gal!2) Mateo is a werewolf who’s not been able to shift and is now stuck listening to the voice of his wolf all the time. The internal dialogue for this character is where a lot of the humour in this book comes from.3) The relationship between Evie and Mateo gets off to a rocky start for sure but it was lovely to watch their dynamic change. If you like an enemies to lovers/ forbidden love trope you’ll probably enjoy this. It’s not firmly either of these camps but it’s that kind of vibe.4) This book was a light read but the story still kept me guessing. It had a fast pace, some fun twists, interesting secondary characters and the chemistry between Evie and Mateo was on point. It’s also set in New Orleans which is an automatic yes from me.It’s the first book in the ‘Stay a Spell’ series. I’ll definitely be reading the next book ‘Don’t Hex and Drive’ when it comes out on the 8th September!I gave this 5/5🌟

Perfect...just perfect
I finally, finally managed to get to those series from my TBR pile. I wanted to read Evie and Mateo's book for soo long and OMG...this book was everything. It had soo much stuff - magic, witches, werewolves, love and of course so much spice 🔥🔥🔥.This book definately sparked my interest for the rest of the series. I can not wait to read Violet and Nico's book and especially Jules and Ruben. This couples will be the end of me 😂.While I am waiting for the rest of the books I will dive in the 2nd and 3rd book and also the book with novellas (because hey, the novellas are from couple of years ahead 😮).I am soo glad that I found those series, even by accident. I am in love with them 😍😍😍!

Delightful!
I enjoyed this book so much and I found my new favourite book boyfriend! Mateo is adorable and hot and Evie is so sweet and kind needing just a little nudge to believe that she is great. Alpha is naughty and hilarious. The writing is very good and felt fresh and easy to read. There is a new world to dive in (witches, werewolves, vampires-all sexy!), romance, sensitivity, humour, family warmth, friendship, references to pop culture and art, a bit of suspense, and so much more. I got so excited and laughed out loud reading and listening this book. The narrators did an excellent job bringing the characters, their emotions, and their personalities to life (and Aiden Snow's voice when Mateo is...excited is to die for). I haven't had a 5-star for a while, I needed one and I got it - I loved this book.

Funny, easy going, rom com type of book
This is it, I have been always looking for paranormal romance books thats sexy and supper funny. Almost borderline comical. Its so easy to read and so lovable. Chemistry is there, fun bunter is there, sense of humor, sexiness, hotness, brooding and loner of a man, supernatural, modern - whats there not to like. Well I agree she was a melted mess around him every time he touched her, could have been tiny bit less “sensitive”.Nice new world introduced, interesting characters and quite a lot of them in one book. I’m looking forward to reed all of them.
