I'm thrilled to have found the Purelife coconut oil. Finally, a brand that is harvested and packaged quickly, at the site rather than languishing in a warehouse getting rancid. This oil is fresh, with a smooth, luscious texture. I cook with it and use it on my face and hands as well. I was impressed with the solid packaging and I'm glad I took advantage of the buy-two special price. I'm giving one to my daughter and I know she will be super pleased as well. So far I am loving this product. It has a mild coconut taste and seems to be very fresh. I have used it to saute vegetables and sometimes I add a teaspoon to my hot dish of oatmeal. I have even stirred it into my coffee. I would buy this coconut oil again. The only thing I wasn't really happy about was that the company makes a point of saying they pick the coconuts and they are processed the same day. That was one of the reasons I picked this brand. However, the jar I got was processed on 1-5-15 and I received it ten months later on 11-5-15. Just sayin'.

I think I've tried about 20 different types of coconut oil at this point and I can confidently say that this product from Pure Life Tropics is my favorite. It's priced a little higher than most other brands, but the difference in the quality, the taste and the texture of this coconut oil makes it worth those extra few dollars. This will certainly be my go-to coconut oil for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend this coconut oil whether you just want to enjoy it straight out of the jar and want to use it as a healthy alternative for cooking and baking.

I'm not sure how I feel about this product, I bought it for oil pulling and usually when done I spit out the oil you can see the discoloration. It turns almost like yellowish but this one melts to a water consistency which I've never experienced, it's usually thicker and when I'm done oil pulling its clear and just as watery as when I started. The thin as water thing is weird and doesn't seem right to me. I've never had a coconut oil like it before. Even when melting, it melts WAY faster in my mouth than any other I've ever used too so when I'm done it doesn't feel or look like I've gotten the usual clearly seen benefits from the oil pulling. I just dint know what to think of it...

I've bought this twice now from Amazon bc i can't find Raw organic coconut oil in my local stores. this stuff tastes way superior to what I find in my local stores and i cook all my son's food in it since he is vegan needs the extra fat. This is really great stuff and really adds a a lot of flavor to our food. I highly recommend it over the other stuff being sold for lower prices.

This is the only coconut oil my infant could handle when he needed it the most. Every other one we tried gave him a rash, all over body inflammation, and digestive issues. I don't know specifically what it is about the others we've tried, but when quality and purity matters, this is the only one as far as I have found that we feel good about. Thanks so much!

This is the third time I have purchased this particular brand of coconut oil, and I can honestly say I am extremely happy with the product. I wish they were still using the easy on/off lid, instead of a twist on/off lid. I have tried several other brands, and keep coming back to this one. It has a very reasonable price point, with very good quality.
