Perfect headset Chomsky not one flaw in this model
<UPDATE>Found a serious design flaw. The volume knob which is located on the bottom of the device rubs on the collar of all my riding jackets. So for my Harley, Alpine stars, offbrand, etc. When I turn my head the volume will go all the way up or all the way down depending on how I turn my head.I can no longer recommend this particular model. I own the pack talk bold/slim series and those are five star fantastic. Unfortunately, because of this volume knob issue I can’t even use this anymore.<END UPDATE>Best helmet communications. American company. NOT Made in China (Assembled in Ukraine. JBL speakers are fantastic. Bluetooth connection is quick, easy and reliable. No crazy disconnects.Only one serious drawback and that is you cannot use the “share music” function and talk over intercom at the same time like the other brand. You have to stop the music share first manually, then you can talk via intercom. Then you have to manually reactivate music share again. Only one step but makes it more dangerous due to additional control manipulation. There may be a software update in the future to change this, but as of right now there isn’t.If you’re not going to music share, then go with these over the other brand. If sharing music is important, then you may want to pass.Edit update: yay! Cardo just released a software update allowing comms and music at the same time. This is now the perfect headset.

Still in a bit of learning curve, but husband is happy with it. Would buy again.
This was for husband's motorcycle helmet. He is still getting used to how to operate it. For my part, when I called him while he was riding, it was like he was sitting next to me. There seemed to be excellent background noise dampening. This is the first time he's been able to either call me or take a call without pulling off road. He is adjusting to not being able to hear what HE says to me, but can hear me fine. He researched this a LOT. Would buy again. Please address your technical questions to the seller. Thanks!

The Cardo Freecom 4+ is great!
I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I am so impressed with this Cardo Freecom4+ that I thought I would. First of all, installation was a breeze! I recommend downloading the app to your mobile phone and then get to know the different features. My favorites so far are the ease of changing music, taking calls, sending texts, and controlling it all with voice commands. The speakers are excellent and plenty loud enough, which I was concerned about. I also love being able to listen to FM radio. This Cardo is a winner!

Amazing product, with even better sound than you can ask for.
I bought this to have an intercom so I can talk to my wife while we're riding, and enjoy music when I'm alone on the bike. The audio quality is definitely high, controls are easy to use even with gloves, and the controls in the app on your phone, make taking calls, changing to intercom, whatever you're trying, a fairly easy affair. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend for anyone looking for something to have a communication system, or even a radio. Battery life even is out of this world, I'm finding I barely need to charge the battery, even after basically a solid day riding. In short, 10/10, highly recommended.

Cardo Freecom 4+ Works Well on LS2 Rebellion Half Helmet.
The Cardo Freecom 4+ BT system is a welcome addition to my LS2 Rebellion half helmet. The helmet came with snap on pads to put the JBL speakers in. The BT unit has two means of connecting it to the helmet: a clip or glue. The helmet thickness seemed too thick for the clip. I am not a big fan of glue. The helmet chin strap is well made and one side has a cut out that the BT unit’s clip fit onto and feels secure. The boom microphone attaches with Velcro pads onto one of the earlier mentioned snap on pads. The distant speaker wire can be stuffed under the padding in the helmet. The audio is excellent. I use an Apple iPhone and the voice recognition works really well to make a phone call. All in all I am very pleased with the Cardo Freecom 4+ BT system.

nice Bluetooth!
Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I'm having issues using the voice commands and some of the button push controls. Aside from that, great sound quality on both ends of a phone call, great listening quality for the music and radio! Install went smoothly, although I don't understand how the slide-on clip would be used, every helmet I've seen is too thick for the clip, so you would have to use the adhesive option. Battery life is awesome too!

Just not quite right
Sold to a friend because: with a 3/4 helmet, wind noise was a problem and, you can't listen to music and transition to intercoms. To go from one to the other requires resetting the module. Went with a Pack Talk slim instead.

Perfect!
Works just as advertised and quality is very good. I like is so much that I talked my brother in to buying one so we can talk to one another when we go riding and he loves his. Using the GPS feature from your phone is a huge plus and making or receiving phone calls is easy. And of course, you can listen to music!
