Huawei U9200 Ascend P1 Unlocked Phone - US Warranty - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I have had this Huawei U9200 Ascend P1 Unlocked Smart Phone for only 5 days, but my first few days of experience with it are great. I use Consumer Cellular for my mobile phone service. I was able to save all my phone contacts to the sim-card in my older smart phone, remove the sim-card and the mini SDHD memory card and install them in my new smart phone and was instantly reconnected to Consumer Cellular and able to make calls and use the music player and other features. A feature that really impressed me, is that you don't have to open the phone up to install the sim-card and the mini SDHD memory card. There is a covered slot at the top where the sim-card is installed and a covered slot on the right side for the mini SDHD card. After installation, both slots are again covered and the cards securely protected. This was so easy to do and very user friendly. This phone is quite fast, comes with many apps, is slim, light weight and feels and looks great and the price was right. I am an Amazon Prime member and have access to all of my music and apps on their cloud server for this Huawei smart phone as well as my Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 32GB tablet. I save enough on my mobile phone and data service thru Consumer Cellular that it was more cost effective for me to purchase this unlocked phone thru Amazon instead of Consumer Cellular or one of the other major providers. So far I love this smart phone and its many features and will update this review if anything changes.

Horrible Huawei customer service and so far they haven't honored the warranty!

Order came promptly, but can't find this model at Huawei's website. Don't know if Warranty will be covered by Huawei at all. The phone described as having 1GB of RAM, but only find it to have 660MB of RAM. Not as fast as it should compare to similar phones. Camera quality appears to be great though. The body also has a good feel with its thinness. Can easily hold it in one hand. The phone looks good, however I bought a Huawei p1 phone but I received an Eason GS03, however the excellent service of amazon solve it.I feel disappointed because It has been freezing when I have received a call so I couldn't answer. The touch screen is disabled after the freeze so I have needed to reboot the phone. I'm from Ecuador and can't return it.

I've been waiting for a while to have a practical mid-range smart phone that does its job but without a bulky body so that I can put it easily into my pocket.I see a lot of my friends put their smart phones on their desk whenever I see them, probably due to their bulky sizes or poor battery life (Constant charging, and charging........).But with Huawei P1, I can barely feel it in my pocket and the battery life is very good. I am a very light user and it can easily last 2-3 days with one full charge. Ever since I own this phone two months ago, I have never charged it in work place or any other places, only at home. I never worry it will run out of juice when it is not supposed to.What is more, it is fast too and ever since I own it, it has not crashed once .While the screen is bright with vivid colors, I do wish it came with a higher resolution. Other than that, it is perfect.

This my first smartphone, and I find it is very easy to use, fast in response, extremely light. I like it very much, and I found that I spend too much time on the phone. The only drawback is its battery life - It can only last one day after intensive use, but the time of recharge is short and I think this is the common problem for all smart phones
