Missed potential
I think this had a lot of potential to be an interesting plot, but it got bogged down with the excessive sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, I love a hot sex scene. But I don't like it when those scenes are on basically every other page. I want plot to go with my sex, thank you very much. I found myself skimming a lot of this. I want to know more about the dark wolves and the gate.My biggest complaint is the uncertainty of who will end up in the harem. I hate it when there are descriptive sex scenes where the FMC sleeps with someone outside the harem. I actually don't know if I want to finish this series because I'll be very upset if the guys she's sleeping with don't end up in the harem.Bottom line, I think this had a lot of potential but it really fell short.

I hate cliffhangers!
Authors should have the decency to warn of cliffhanger ending and give potential readers the opportunity to choose to start an incomplete story.A side from that, interesting concept except for the Blatantly screaming elephant. A bad creature attacks and almost kills the h. The evil creature is caught and...jailed. why the hell not just eviscerate, decapitate and raze the evil creature instead of leaving it as a future threat?

Lots of sexy men or wolves?
Wolf At My Door is a hot read!! I love reading paranormal books and this one is perfect. You have mystery, suspense and a lot of hot guys. So the main character is Julie and she is raised with the societal norms. By that I mean human society. So when she takes a job basically in the middle of nowhere and finally sees what and where she is at she quickly realizes that something is amiss. So as the story builds slow at first with a bunch of questions being tossed about and not being answered she is getting frustrated. Sp what is going on? Will she ever get any answers? All she knows is that there is a lot of hot men surrounding her and trying to get her attention. She is reminding herself that she is there for a job and not to get a boyfriend. However, she does choose to take a couple up on their offers. Then one day something happens and it does not bode well for her. Will she accept things the way they are? Does she have her choices taken away? What will happen? Well it gets pretty intense towards the end. So we are still left with questions about the whole ordeal? Its definitely not over by a long shot. I cannot wait to read what happens next. I was left stunned at the end so be prepared.***This is an advanced readers copy and also purchased.***

Amazing!!!! Loved it!!!
This was a case of love at first page for me. I devoured the book. I got lost in it. I loved it so much that I continued devouring whatever book I could find from this author. The author immediately became one of my favourites, and I will forever be grateful to my friend who recommended her.The author's writing is superb. It is beautifully consistent, perfectly paced, incredibly interesting, and very much addictive. I love everything about this author. Everything! Her voice resonates deeply with me and her subtle messages in this book make my heart sing. The idea itself involves pretty unique wolf shifters, and their origin is incredibly interesting. The world the author created here is amazing, and I have a feeling it will expand beyond what readers expect and I cannot wait to see it. The cliffhanger is not dramatic, regardless of how much the author mentions it. In my opinion, it was a perfect moment to end the book. And the characters... I loved the characters immensely. Jules is just wonderful. She is not a warrior or fighter but she is incredibly sharp with words and she her natural intelligence and general lack of will to take anyone's crap, just shines through. I absolutely loved her. She is troubled at times, having problems dealing with everything thrown at her, but she always works through it and comes back smarter and stronger. Being absolutely down to earth, helps her deal with stuff life throws at her.The guys are fantastic and enthusiastic, and they are gorgeous and all over the place and that gives this story a humorous undertone. Jules' inner monologues when faced with so much gorgeous masculinity are absolutely hilarious. There are numerous interesting characters here and the author did an amazing job developing them. Overall, this was a fantastic book, fantastic beginning of the series, amazingly written, featuring great well developed characters, super interesting world, tons of emotions (superhot as well), and I can't wait for the next one. I am incredibly grateful to the author for writing this book and I am so glad I finally discovered her books.

Meh, not sure about this one
So I picked up this book because I wanted high heat with some MM. I did get what I wanted but I felt that some aspects of the book suffered and were lackluster such as the character development and the background information and details. I’ll be honest, all the guys seem kind of forgettable to me at the moment. I just finished the book and I can’t even begin to describe how any of her potential mates look. There is a lot of vague comments being thrown around which has left Jules and the reader in the dark. And when we do get some kind of explanation, things seem contradictory compared to what we have already seen earlier in the book. Some of the arguments to justify the Sanctuary’s way of life when compared to how Jules grew up seems like it doesn’t make a lot of sense or the context isn’t matching up to what is actually being discussed which made things seem more confusing for me.While this may seem like a pretty damning review full of complaints, I did like the idea and story line of the shifters. Their way of life and their origins were a unique twist that I haven’t come across before in other shifter books involving wolves. I think the potential is there for a great book but just needs some fine tuning in the execution in my opinion. I do plan on finishing out the series so I can figure out who all she ends up with and what the deal is with the wolf who attacked her, plus Kelly seems to be hiding ulterior motives now.

Oh my!
What a book! Wasn't sure how this book was going to pan out, but I loved every minute of it, Julie is working at a new place but something strange is going on but all people will say is after the full moon everything will be come clear!

Hilarious, sexy and just right ;)
Walking into a new job where every man there has eyes for you would be kinda scary and Jules's internal monologue does not disappoint. She is funny, witty and says and thinks all the things I would in that situation. Jules is totally relatable, especially for a modern woman raised in a world that still sees women in a certain light. The men that Jules is drawn to all have a certain something that she needs and trust me Sam Hall does not disappoint in the description stakes. I cannot wait to find out what's next for Jules and her pack and even though there were only fleeting glances of the antagonist I both hate him and curiously drawn to him in the same instance! Well done Sam on a fantabulous book!

Super fun and sexy!
A new take on the old shifter trope brings a refreshing new view! I loved this for how it was different from every other shifter book. The FMC has no idea that shifters exist and her introduction to the world is confusing, funny as hell and very sexy! I loved the world of Sanctuary and am already beginning to devour book 2.

Wow!
This book was amazing. Jules wow, she really grew into herself. And those men of hers. I have a crush on Brandon! I like the nerdy guys. This was a awesome read, recommended to anyone looking for a RH shifter book, that’s a little bit different. And lots of steamy scenes!

A book to lose yourself in
I loved this book in fact all the books in this series. Read them all in a couple of days as I just couldn’t put them down ( I am very tired and looking forward to getting some sleep now that I have finished them). The different take on a paranormal world was refreshing and so well described. I fell in love with the characters so much so that I will miss them. It was also so wonderful to see that a fellow Aussie is the writer.
