Public Secrets

I hated for this story to end. Lots of everything going on. I enjoyed most of the characters..good and bad. But that’s what a goo author does. That’s why Nora Roberts is so popular.

This book while well written, dealt with some very sad issues domestic violence. I found it hard to read at my age. Reality is not my thing in my. 80s.

I seriously considered abandoning this book about a quarter of the way in, probably because Public Secrets was not the typical romance novel I expected from Nora Roberts. I am so glad I kept reading. The tension and intrique kept building and I just couldn't put this book down. The characters are memorable and well developed.

I really enjoyed this story. Maybe because I'm part of the original rock and roll generation. I cried, laughed and got sucked into the mystery of who killed Darren.I will be truthful and say I had my suspicion s, but it wasn't because it was telegraphed to the reader. I read too many mysteries...There were a few typos and grammar errors, but not to where they impacted the flow.Keep up the good work, Ms. Roberts!

I read everything she writes! This is an older one but it held me in it's grip until I finally finished it.. You won't be sorry it's great from beginning to end❤❤

I think I have read everything NR has written. I started with reading her romance books; I still have them. There has been only one JD Robb book that, when I read it again, I will skip over some parts. When you read her books, you can see her characters, feel their emotions, and get caught up in their story. I have and will continue to purchase anything and everything Nora Roberts/JD Robb writes.

This surely is one of the best books Nora Roberts ever wrote. Even though it is now quite an old book, it has really stood the test of time. It has everything one would wish for. Fabulously well written with a true eye for detail. It really captures the era of the 60s, 70s and 80s. As someone who remembers these decades with fondness it was smashing to have it brought to life in such a compelling way. You have, murder, mystery, drama and of course romance set in a background of good old rock and roll. What more could you ask for!

Can the past influence your future?Can the one you are meant to be with appear in your life repeatedly until it takes a while to realize that he is the one?Can a story be about one little girl when its also a tale of a successful rock band?All in all a great story.

Impossible to put this book down!

The read was easy but rather long with too much pre-story. Topic was well done and the main characters well described. Like I said an average Roberts not amongst the best for my taste.
