Great bike rack. It is very easy to adjust the angle of the bikes.I really like that it tips forward and allows you to access the trunk, very easy to do. It’s also very sturdy. I have a couple of fold up bikes that are a bit more awkward in shape and bulkier than regular bikes. So I was worried how they wouldn’t fit, but it’s not even an issue. My two bikes fit comfortably and the rubber straps fit perfectly. The rubber straps feel secure and are easy to work with. I don’t see any problem with the spacing of the bikes on the mounts, like I said, my bikes are small but bulky, and they fit perfectly no issues with scratching the car or each other. Also very happy with the two straps included , the hitch lock (awesome!), and bike lock. I do plan on purchasing some straps that hook onto the rear door to get rid of some of the side to side wobble. I drove around with it over some bumpy roads and it holds up well but I’d feel better with those straps on.It is totally worth installing a hitch to use this kind of bike rack rather than one of those trunk mounted bike rack. Feels far more secure, peace of mind is worth a few more $$.I am very happy with this rack I would definitely purchase again from Tyger

As far as I remember it was fairly easy to set up. The whole thing was a bit more difficult for me because I had to actually install a hitch on my car before I could connect this rack. Having the smallest hitch rating, this was one of the few rack options I had available to carry multiple bikes. I think the hitch rating is the reason the carrying arms are too short to fit 3 bikes very well.With a full load it bounces and wobbles but it doesn't bend or break. It's very convenient being able to toss a bike on the back any time. Very different from using a removable rack.There are 3 things that aren't convenient though: using the tip out, folding the arms, and using the straps.Tipping it out to access the back door requires you to pull out a pin, keep track of it, and put it back when you're done. When tipping it back to pinning position, it's not a precise location, so I usually have to push and pull slightly to get the pin to go all the way back through. This small amount of tedium and often road grime is something I try to avoid if I can get to the back, through the back seat. Also the chance of this pin getting lost is very high, since there is no tether included. This is also compounded by the clasp for this pin actually having fallen off a couple of times. Without the pin, this rack can't carry a thing. Not remembering if I'd put the pin back has caused me panic on the road several times.In order to fold the carrying arms up or down, the grip wheels need to be loosened and tightened with seemingly thousands of rotations of the knobs for either side. This takes enough effort to feel the burn and a long time to complete. A VERY long time. I've used other racks that utilized a lever mechanism to clamp the grip wheels that ends up being a lot more convenient. Because of this significant tedium, I've left the arms up in the "Dangerous rear antlers may impale unwary pedestrians!" position for weeks without carrying a single bike.On those carrying arms, there are straps. The straps are quite sturdy, which is good. The problem is they're also very stiff. The amount of strength it takes to get these strap holes on and off the pegs is kind of extreme. I can do it without too much trouble with gloves on but it can hurt without them. My wife struggles more and my child just can't do it at all. There are many times I worry that the pegs will just break off under the pressure.

Right out of the box, I could tell that this is a quality product. Why pay two or three hundred dollars for a big brand name? It went together easily. You do need your own 13mm wrench to put the upright pole into the carrier part but no big deal. They supply you with two other tools for assembly. Little features like a rubber stop in the upright assembly to keep it from rattling is a nice touch. I ordered the three bike rack even though we only use two bikes. Gives us room to adjust. The cable lock and the hitch lock are just nice extras. They are quality items, not indestructible, but a thief will look elsewhere if you use them. I have use other Tyger products and find them to be more that adequate. Very pleased. Quick shipping, no issues.

This unit is strong, light and extremely well-built. I really like its security features - hitch lockable with the included key lock and included combination lockable bike cable. The included security straps can additionally secure your bike(s) together to prevent friction from movement while in transport.Though it is marketed as a 3-bike rack, I found that it would be very tight for 3 bikes, but since we transport only 2 bikes, it is ideal.I found that assembly was a little confusing due to the fact that the unit is assembled incorrectly for purposes of fitting it into a fairly small shipping box. After unbolting the two main parts of the rack and correctly reassembling them, it was a snap to finish assembly and mount the rack on my Honda Ridgeline's 2" hitch receiver.The next day, we loaded up our two bikes, and as we were driving to a trail about 5 miles from our house, using my rear-view mirror, I watched how solidly the loaded rack handled the many small bumps and dips in the road. It did very well as it did also on the trip back home. I found this to be a great bike rack and would certainly recommend it to any cyclist.

This bike rack is easy to assemble/install and overall sturdy. I bought it back in 2018. Unfortunately, this week, the front brace for a bike broke while we were on a busy highway, dropping the back into rush hour traffic. Luckily, no one was hurt but my bike was toast. I recommend using an additional bungy or strap to keep bikes together on the rack. The photo description for this product shows that one was supposed to come with mine, but I don't recall that I got it (I certainly never used it). The brace (where the loops are connected to the carrier) broke at the base. We'd noticed some wear & tear but certainly didn't think it would fail where it did.

Very easy to assemble. Looks good. Other than that I cannot say anymore because I haven't had the chance to use it yet. As soon as I do, I will add to my review.
