Wrist problems? Not anymore.
I have recently been getting sharp wrist pains from being at the computer for 8+ hours for my job, plus school work on top of it. I realized it’s from the edge of my desk digging into my wrist/forearm. After discovering this product, I decided to give it a try. It wasn’t hard to install, just make sure your desk is 1-1/8” thick, otherwise it won’t fit. Fortunately, mine was exactly that. I didn’t use any washers for it because my desk was the exact thickness for this. If your desk is thinner, you can use up to two washers to make it fit. Anyways, my wrist/forearm feels like it is on a pillow with this installed now. Was a perfect solution to my setup and would recommend to anyone who is trying to avoid carpal tunnel/wrist problems. I give it 5/5 for being well designed, sturdy and pretty ergonomic.

Makes a huge difference on a hard corner desk edge
Really good product, well made, some minor QC and packing issues. If you use a shelf as a desktop or otherwise have a desk with a sharp edge, it makes a huge difference, and I haven’t seen much quite like it.Pros:• comfortable, sturdy• the rubberized washers are great• quick and friendly response from a rep• bolt-on (clamps are fine for a temporary solution, but this was far more desirable to me)Major cons:• noneMinor issues:• 9 holes, 7 washers, 6 screws ¯\_(ツ)_/¯• ...and the screws are cheap garbage• very loosely packaged• scratches on the painted metal (maybe returned?), see pics (1 very minor blemish in the visible part of the product, so this is not a huge deal)• had to supply my own nylon spacers to fill the gap for my 5/8” shelf (see pics)- fortunately I had these on hand or it would have been very frustrating (it is implied that the included washers will fill gaps, but they are about 2mm or 3/32”), would be nice if they included some sizing optionsOne other odd thing- I ordered the rigid, but they shipped the flexible (which took over 10 days). Seemed like it would still work fine so I kept it, and in talking with a rep from the company it sounds like they may be discontinuing the rigid for this reason (the flexible one works for both).

Disappointed
The lip that hooks on top of the desk is just as uncomfortable as the natural edge of the desk I was trying to soften. I traded one uncomfortable edge for another and lost $36 in the process. The mounting system is overly complicated too. I used 3M VHB tape and it was almost impossible to remove.

Doesn't fit all desk
I have a sit to stand desk with a normal square edge and it hits right at my wrist. I bought this for a softer edge. It would work great, but the mount piece is about 1/2in to big. So I would need a piece of wood etc to make to flush with the bottom of my desk. I may try to find a way to mount it anyways. But this does not fit all desk.

Uncomfortable and sharp edge.
This extension for the desk sounded like a great idea at the time of purchase. I have issues with my desk protruding into my forearms which make sitting at it rather uncomfortable. This rest doesn't really help with that at all, in fact, it actually makes it worse. The lip at the top is not smooth and moulded at a sharp angle. One of the things I love doing is sitting down, moving my arm, and taking the top layer of skin off my forearms. It's great for exfoliation. 10/10 would recommend.TL;DR it's sharp. It's not comfortable. It fails at its job.

Just installed on my studio desk. 100% worth it!
this is Such a great addition to my desk. I looked all over and could not find exactly this... till now. no more bulky wrist rest on my desk. its a nice firm but comfortable rubber with metal underplate. easy to install. I used some 1/8" balsa wood instead of the washers and it worked out fantastic. (nothing wrong with the washers I just found this method easier and I had it handy.).... great product I may buy another for my other desk.

It’s what you need.
Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Give you comfort, and saves your arms from those sharp corners. My desk was 1” thick, and this here is a better for for about 1 1/8” thick desk, but placing the washers that are included, and add a second one, on the under side will close that gap!

I really like the quality
I really like the quality and thought that went into making these. I think they look great. That said, the little upper edge does need some attention. I took mine back off and block sanded the edge, it made a big difference. But don't go to deep, just round the edge.I also was able to 45* the ends putting two together for an inside corner. I made a little miter box and used a hack saw. If you're not that experienced with using a miter box, I wouldn't recommend it. I had to clean up one edge with a flat metal file.
