Barbell Nutrition's Micellar Casein - Grass Fed - New Zealand - 1 Kg

I have tried Casein of other brands in the past and this was my first time trying this brand. On the outset the product came in without any flavor, which is my preference. It tastes like milk powder if tasted in powder form, nothing wrong about it according to me. Twice a day before meals I mix the powder (1scoop) with a glass of cool water, pinch of pepper, 1 tsp jaggery powder and 2 spoons of coconut oil and shake it up in a shaker. It gets creamy and works well. Mixing it with hot water makes it lumpy and non mixable. I have not experienced any digestive issues so far. I do consume 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar every morning on empty stomach everyday so that could explain why I am able to digest protein better. This has helped me cut carbs and manage sugar craving much better for sure!!! I am shedding fat rapidly by using this to replace grain carbs. My energy level and muscle density seems to be improving proportional to my workout. I also supplement Omega3, 10k Vit D3 with 100mcg Vit K2 and Zincovit syrup everyday. I will continue to use this product and get my blood work done after a month and share my thoughts and knowledge here.

This is my first attempt with casein...I mix whey protein and casein in 1:1 ratio... Earlier for an year i had been taking only whey protein.. Then i come to know whey is only for instant protein supply while casein gives continuous protein supply for 6-7 hrs....have been consuming casein for 2 weeks now before hitting bed... First 2-3 days it was heavy on stomach while getting up in the morning, after that feeling normal, no gas no digestion issue as such...Like i said Casein releases protein slowly for 6-7 hrs, so it keeps your muscle pump sustained till next day too, muscle soarness is also reduced substantially compared to whey...Remember your body needs protein more on next day than same day.. As next day it really starts repairing and crave for more nourishment...Taste wise it is just like unsweetened milk powder, it's very fine....

I've never used casein before even I've worked out for 16 years. It was always recommended to me but I thought normal food protein intake would be fine for me and besides I was already consuming whey protein isolate. However on a hunch I started it and here's my review -It smells like milk powder, however the taste of milk is too faint to notice and adding artificial flavour like vanilla completely replaces that too. I don't consider flavour a big thing for protein supplements but that's my thing. A lot of people don't like karela for example but it's taste doesn't speak of its quality.Over a period of 3 weeks regular intake, I've noticed changes in that my muscles are stronger and better formed as they grow, they also seem to repair and recuperate perfectly overnight from vigorous workout that day. I would say the pump has increased in short and I can feel my muscles respond better under vigour.At this price point, this is by far the best choice for casein at amazon. Legitimate product and bang for the buck.

Taste is good. Mixability is average, a few small lumps were present even after mixing in a shaker for a minute.I'm not sure if it really has the amount of protein per serving which it states in the label. It tastes like unsweetened milk powder. There aren't many reviews about it online.I'd recommend to skip this and buy some other well reviewed casein of some reputed brand.

I have literally used all of their protein products. And still do. Probably the best quality protein in India! It's one of the only companies that discloses all of their ingredients honestly & never use crap artificial ingredients that I have ever seen nor felt in my stomach. All u idiots that complain about stupid things like foam, etc should wake up!! I have done my research for over a decade & this is really pure stuff compared to most brands

Caesin does not smell like milk powder , and it's not made in new Zealand, local Indian product, strongly recommend not to buy it

I like the product as it used to dilute fast and I used it before sleeping. This helped me to fuel my protein requirements when I was a sleep.

I had previously used this and had seen significant results. Tastes mostly like milk. This does not have the side effects of acne or blotches on the skin like other protein supplements.Mixing it in normal water for sometime does not leave lumps. Overall a very good product compared to price
