My Husband purchased these boots for me for our trip up to Scotland and the Outer Hebredies. Walking was the biggest factor and I need to get a pair of boots that : -a) felt as thought they were already broken inb) able to wear thick warm socks without discomfortc) waterproofd) comfortable and sturdyI purchased a half size bigger 5.5 and they fitted perfectly with warm socks, I have a slightly wider foot and wanted to ensure that they didn't feel tightI can't say how much we walked other than we covered beach, mountains, valleys, mud, water, rocks and pouring down rain and my feet after all of this were dry, warm and felt like I'd done all my walking in a pair of slippersI did spray them before we went on holiday with a waterproofing product not just to add to the waterproofing but to protect their appearance and I would recommend this before wearing them.Would I purchase these boots again... yes I would 100%

I've bought many brands I went DANNERS last time ! I'd laugh but 6 months for 300 quid Dannerscare trash.these I've seal oiled 3 times b4 she goes out .they look gr8 she says feel great let's see in 6 months

Thee were very good looking boots but unfortunately I needed a wider fitting.

Can't fault for comfort as they are amazing but they aren't waterproof. For the price you expect them to be what they say. Will not be purchasing again

Fits well, comfortable apart from bulky (soft) leather tongue and padding around.

I had to return my first pair as the insole kept sliding around. Now one of the lace loops has snapped off. I have had them less than 6 months. I wouldn't bother with this brand again.

Absolutely gutted, loved these boots, so comfy and warm but I wore in the rain for the first time and my feet got soaking wet.......so much for waterproof

Just returned again as lace up fastenings have come away after just couple of months use. Mountain Warehouse would not exchange again as they clearly have no confidence in their own product so I just got a refund. I'd originally bought these in a sale. Product is made in China. Boots were also leaking practically instantly.

Zunächst habe ich mich an den anderen Rezensionen orientiert und die Schuhe eine Nr. größer gekauft - was sich auch bei mir als richtig erwiesen hat.Das Hauptkriterium war die Wasserdichtigkeit, und diese kann ich bestätigen. Die Schuhe sind nicht all zu schwer und das Glattleder ist pflegeleicht. Optisch könnten sie ansprechender sein, aber das war mir dann im Endeffekt egal.

I love the look and feel of this pair of boots - but oh does it destroy my heels! I'm quite used to that happening in the beginning, but it's still the case after 100km+. Every time I put it on optimistically, I end up in pain. And of course it is too late to send it back now. So I bought another pair (quite a different type) and hope to tame this one while that one lasts so as to be able to wear it when the other one falls to pieces. I wonder, will about 5 years do the trick?
