Acme Little Cleo Spoon Fishing Lure

I ordered 4 of this pattern - gold/red in 1/8 oz. - and gave 2 to my fishing buddies. Buddy #1 caught a huge (est. 5.5 lbs.) Largemouth Bass from a farm pond in the second week of December, and 4 other nice Largemouth and a Bluegill the size of a frisbee, in under an hour. I was using a topwater lure and caught nothing. Buddy #2, a few days later, told me he fished a different farm pond and caught 4 Largemouth in his first 5 casts. All fish were caught and released. Wow! These things are deadly on late-season Bass and Panfish and I plan to use them starting next Spring.

If I only had one fishing lore in my box it would be a little Cleo, caught more fish always produces

Best bait in the tackle box, if shad is the main bait fish in the lake, lil Cleo's will catch anything in the lake.

These are great lures but are cheaper when purchased on the manufacturers website

Did not come with the small ring attached to front of spoon. Unfortunately because of that it effects the way the spoon moves in the water. A little irritated at that but I'm sure I can find a small ring to attach somewhere.

I am a pretty casual fisherman. I went on a trip with some friends recently to fish for walleye. I bought this spoon based on a recommendation from an article online. On my first outing, I landed a 21", 3.5 lb walleye. Sadly, I later lost the lure. But I will be buying another for sure.

This are a tried and true classic for any freshwater fishermen! Always my go to when fishing mountain lakes or local ponds. Very high quality spoon lure on of the best!

When I saw the ring attached to the lure in the picture I figured it was part of the deal. Silly me!

looks a tasty little lure i know these are popular stateside for trout hopefully they translate well across in northern ireland arrived early what more could you ask for?

These little spoons are a great multi species bait. But they excel fishing for trout, go chrome/green or chrome/blue.
