BELL Avenue MIPS Adult Road Bike Helmet

Got this a a replacement, super comfortable

I was saved by my trusty, 15 year old Bell bike helmet recently. As a new owner of a popular brand of e-bike, I learned first hand that these machines are to be taken seriously. I had a nasty wreck on my second night of owning it. It was pitch black outside and I was on a curvy bike path with nothing but a small headlight. A dangerous set of circumstances. In short, I was knocked unconscious for about 20 minutes. Upon inspection I found that the inside of my helmet was cracked in at least 4 places. I can only imagine what would have happened had I not strapped on that helmet. So, out of appreciation for that save, I decided to stick with Bell for my new helmet. I quite like the look of this one so I gave it the nod. Well, it's not only very rugged, it's also well ventilated and very comfy. It has what they call "MIPS" which is described as a slip plane designed to reduce rotational forces. Basically, what that means is, when you strap the helmet on, the outer shell is free to rotate to a certain degree to allow for further absorption of impact. It also makes it so the inner webbing is what is strapped to your head, not the shell itself. Again - very comfy. Highly recommended.Ride Rad!

The fit of this helmet and the adjustability is really nice, and it is pretty lightweight. However, the straps that meet beneath the chin are quite short even when adjusted to the longest length. I ended up finding someone who could wear it with reasonable comfort and gave it to them. Would have been really happy with it otherwise.

I’ve only tried it on, Extra large is perfect for my big head and it looks nice. So light I didn’t even notice it was on.Let’s see how it does when I hit the road later today.

I like how it sits on your head for protection. I wanted it to be a little thinner. But it's good for me and affordable

What's not to like? Great fit with minimal easy adjustments. This one even has MIPS.

Good helmet. The finish on this helmet was much better than my last Bell bicycle helmet. Looks good, fits well.

correas muy cortas para el agarre, el modelo es genial, se ve muy bien pero las correas parecen ser talla small, porque no corresponden al casco

The helm fit to my head perfectly, its feel so comfortable and it look stylist as well
