Definitely hang them with the fabric going vertical if you want more privacy and/ sun screen.First time hung them with the fabric going horizontal and had too many spaces

I bought two of these to take with me in my pack if needed when I go out. They are light enough and the two of them together weigh about 3 lbs. If your a hunter and want to set up a blind, this is the way to go. This is by no means military grade so if that is what your looking for, this is not it. Plan on spending twice as much or more for a Military grade net. The material looks like a light weight polyester blend. The netting is also very light weight. It you plan to drape this over bushes the net will snag while trying to set up. On the 6 1/2 ft side there are three tie down points including the corners. The 10 ft side has 4. I lashed the two nets together and draped over my tent just to see how it looked. See picture. It blends in really well with the woods in the background. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. If you want to make a shaded area from the sun, these work great for that too.UPDATE: I was so satisfied with the quality to price ratio I bought two more. If your not rough with these they should last a while.

only downside is that i would have liked a little stronger tie points. not sure how these are going to hold up over time. easily be repaired though. note i use these for basically a wind resistant shade cover. doing this i use two nets at different heights about 12 inches apart. so far is far superior to any awnings i have had destroyed by our colorado front range winds.

Under direct sun for 3 months, all the rops turn to dust and I'm not exaggerating.

Works well with my ground blind later hunts Mn. Helps to “brush” in to snow.

I buy 2 and tie together to give shade for a 20 x 7 foot balcony. It looks better than anything I have tried. Helps keep my space cooler without blocking view as much as solid sunscreens do. The white netting breaks up in the wind so needs to be replaced every other year. But it’s affordable. And shipping is quick.

This is a decent product. It runs a bit small. My reason to purchase was to cover a riding mower out next to the woods where it wouldn't be seen from the road but I can only fully cover the mower on one side...grrr. Camo pattern blends perfectly though and mower is invisible from 30 yds. Bigger size seems to be sold out and I can't find one anywhere. Buying two of these would do the job but now I would be spending too much to do that.
