Galison Gray Malin Hawaii Beach 2-Sided 500 Piece Puzzle

Such a beautiful puzzle. It was a gift for my mom and she enjoyed doing it so much. Perfect level of difficulty.

Tricky, but not as difficult as I expected it to be! Beautiful pictures and would make a great gift! One side is matte while the other is shiny so you know which side of each piece you should be working with.

Puzzle was missing a piece but my dog probably ate it.

Feels great and sturdy! I love how the sides are different textures to make it obvious which is which. The shiny side feels amazing, like a beautiful pebble. Great printed color also! I look forward to buying another one of these.

My girlfriend is an enormous fan of Gray Malin, so I was extremely excited to find this puzzle. The pictures are gorgeous, even the box it comes in looks and feels fancy. And two puzzles for the price of one? Count me in! The two sides of the puzzle are finished differently (matte vs glossy), so it wasn't difficult to determine which side was which.Only issue with the puzzle, and any frequent puzzler will understand, is the pictures started to come off some of the pieces at the edges quite easily, especially when putting a piece in a place it doesn't end up belonging. It didn't happen to the majority of pieces, but to enough that it concerned me that this won't be a highly repeatable puzzle.Finally, it doesn't have the "snap-quality" (as I just decided to call it) of some of the well known, high-quality puzzle brands (your Buffalo or Clementoni, etc.). It was still a blast to put together, and this didn't mar the experience, but it also didn't enhance it.Would still recommend, especially for fans of Malin's work.

A fun, challenging puzzle. A perfect rainy day activity.
