I bought some Hovis yeast in 2019 and was disappointed as some of the packs inside weren't properly sealed. However, the yeast gave me the best rise and taste when compared to other dried yeast I've tried. This pack of 10 boxes has a reasonable best before date and all the 7g packs have been sealed properly. So far used it for 5 loaves and the rise is even better than before. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for our needs! I make a LOT of homemade pizza and bread, and was finding that I was running out and having to buy yeast from the supermarket very often. During the recent coronavirus crisis yeast has been hard to find which has not gone down well with my husband and children when they couldn’t have pizza!Buying this multipack has been great, I’ve made loads of stuff already but still have multiple packets left in the cupboard.

Baking

We use it to bake out bread and pizza bread. It's quite good. It starts the fermentiaon in matter of few minutes. The good thing about it is that it is in single sachets and every sachet makes 1 large pizza bread.

I sent for this as I could not get sachets at my local super market. It arrived on 17th of August. When I opened the package and checked the first box the best by date was September! That’s an awful lot of yeast to use up in such a limited time. Very disappointed indeed. You’d have thought it would be in date for much longer!

Used this for the last 7 years. I have tried others, but this in my opinion makes the best homemade bread. Delivery within a week. Absolutely no complaints.

This is a great product for home bread making.Only 2 stars given because unfortunately most of it will go to waste. The use by date is 2 months after the delivery date and I just won't be able to use even half of it in time.Delivered on time to a domestic address.
