Q: Can you remove the leather braid?

Mine got loose. I pulled it off making sure the glue didnt take off the leather of the hat seam. For the price its a very good hat. But I was also skeptical about removing the band. Without the band its still a good looking hat and I still get lots of compliments. I meant to replace it with another band. I bet Amazon has some. I didnt need any tools, just picked the glue off. All around the seam was fine, cept the back where there was a little fraying. I already had the hat for years, maybe four. Its a sound build, and I still wear it and look great in it. I recommend this hat to anybody.

Q: Does the hat have an elastic band inside the hat?

No. It has a band but not elastic. More of a sweat band.

Q: Can anyone tell me the measurement of inside circumference of medium size hat?

The older hat I got is medium at 23" circumference, which is the same for my newer hat in large size. I don't know why this is.
