I have never written a review for an Amazon purchase, but had to write this one because if you are looking for a weight bench to work out at home while the gyms are closed, this is a great bench!Pros: *I like that this bench can adjust to a full upright position to do shoulder presses sitting up. Many of the folding benches do not do this.*Width of legs make the bench sturdy and not wobbly at all. I do step up leg lifts on the bench with no problem.*Easy to fold and so out of the way. Not overly heavy to lift (for wife) and doesn't take a lot of room. Easy to adjust positions with knob. Does not stick. Can even do slight inverted sit ups since there is a foot rest.*Good padding.Cons: None

They looked into the production process and determined that there had been a temporary machining issue with their supplier that affected a small number of units, and graciously offered a partial refund for my inconvenience which I thought was quite fair, so I increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars for the great service and accommodation (couldn't quite justify a full 5 with still possessing a flawed unit, but at the same time cannot expect them to lose money by shipping a full replacement item either. 5 stars if I were rating the company alone, and it's reasonable to expect a 5 star experience if you order this item, now that they've addressed the root issue that caused my defects ).Be confident if you order this bench you will almost certainly receive a quality unit at a good value, or on the rare chance of a supply issue, the company has demonstrated they'll do their best to accommodate.........I bought this in hopes of replacing my current foldable bench that is more limited with only a few positions, no leg support for decline, and a fixed flat seat.Pros: seems quite sturdy, decline will be much safer, several incline angles, option for crunches/situps... many of the benefits of more expensive gym units. The foldability is nice and with a bit of breaking in hopefully not overly stiff.Cons:Assembly:It's fairly clear that this is where the "you get what you pay for" comes into play. The stands arrived with shards of metal protruding from the threads (rushed, not filed away). At first, I figured it wouldn't be too awful since these portions end up on the inside once assembled, I realized that this extended to impacting the threading on one of the holes (right arrow in pic). What should've been a rapid assembly was delayed by a period of filing to no avail, and lacking the proper tools to rethread, I had to just force the screw. It's unlikely I will be able to ever separate that foot, but hopefully that is a non-issue if keeping the unit.Also, the seat seam is poorly sewn with imperfections right in the place where I'd grip for decline crunches. I will need to wear gloves and be careful not to exacerbate and tear this area further.-1 star for the headache and problematic imperfection(s)However, the biggest issue is the unit is NOT LEVEL! Comparing to other review pics, the center bar is not level resulting in a noticeable decline in the "flat" position. Further inspection shows that it was just a shoddy weld job that shouldn't have passed, but was apparently deemed "acceptable to sell".While this is not awful for flat bench, it impacts step-ups, tricep dips and attempting to sit sideways. Worst of all for my purposes, it means I cannot retire my other bench and now have to maintain the space for two.Lastly, as I cannot disassemble the base due to the threading issue, attempting to return/replace would be too much of a hassle, and since I CAN make do with my 2 bench setup, I will still likely keep the unit (and even with the issues it's still a fairly good buy at the price point), but I felt obligated to mention the issues bc it's likely that others will arrive even worse while many may be excellent/perfect. I will attempt to find a board or something that props up the head side to level, but this shouldn't be necessary and will likely require some trial and error.For this unit, on a scale of:1 star = awful2 stars= fair but serious reservations3 stars= fine/mostly useable with caveats4 stars= good with a minor issue5 stars= excellent/as expectedI feel a 3 star review is justified. Of course excellent customer service could potentially boost that, but if you purchase know that you will "likely" receive a serviceable unit, but there is a fair chance you may receive a unit with imperfections that impede functionality to a degree similar to or exceeding mine.

I just got this two days ago. It's incredibly easy to assemble, no tools required beyond what's provided and took no more than 15minutes, but do follow the directions and don't just guess as my initial guess was off. It's pretty sturdy once you tighten things up into your desired position. The seat could be a little longer as there's an odd gap, but so far it's not too much of a problem for me. I'm a relatively fit 5'8" male so while it's fine for me, it may be less comfortable for others. I do still think it's a little pricey at $130, but given the demand, I'm just glad I was able to get it at all. The shipment was delayed twice and I eventually got it about 26 days after ordering.

A long-time weight-lifter and personal trainer. This bench is a perfect addition for your home gym. It gets the job done. well-designed for sturdiness and yet EZ to assemble. It's very comfortable for clients. It's a great value in comparison to other benches here on Amazon. This bench was further down on the list. I'm so happy that I took the time to research - this bench is a value & a find!

I am not going to lie, I had medium to low expections when I first ordered this bench simply due to the fact that it's cheap, unknown, but I still gave it a try because of the the low price tag. However, it surprised me in a big way. First, it's easy to assemble. the main body structures are pre-installed, all I needed to do was to adjust and put a pin through to have it fixed(dont know how to explain, manual does it better) . Secondly, it's really sturdy and quiet. It never gave me any squeaky feel at all. Finally, the enlarged lower half of the bench provides extra support for my back and low body very well. I am very surprised and satisfied.

Not a very well made bench. Not sturdy. Cheaply made.

This bench is a great value and I love the additional angles it could be put it as well as be put away. The only issue I had with this is there is a slight wobble if you lean to one side. The price more than makes up for it, but its still always there and wish I had something a little bit more sturdy, but it does the job. Assembly is easy and is quick to move from one position to the next.

This is a good weight bench for the price. I have used it for the last 3 weeks almost every day and it has held up with all the exercises I have done. It was important for me to have one that adjusts and it does that easily. I haven't had to fold it for storage, I just leave it out in my lower level. My only complaint would be that the top part could be a bit longer, when I lay flat on it, my head it at the very top and sometimes past.
