I bought this to filter my home made sloe gin, I was impressed with how clear the sloe gin was once filtered.I might purchase a larger mesh to remove larger particles first to speed the job.This filter is excellent and removing everything but the liquid so it was a good purchase.Very easy to clean.

This was bought in order to filter wine.Great equipment ! Very effective. Quality item, well worth the price.

Just what I needed so pleased with the product, though it would be nice if they added an option for spare filters as I expect this might not last long given it could tear fairly easily during use.

Excellent product. There are lots of funnels available but this is the only one that I have found which has a straight-sided outlet tube. This means that pretty much anything which can enter the outlet tube will reach the target vessel without the risk of it being trapped by a narrowing outlet tube. My only concern was that the tube might not fit in the bottles that I was filling (with Sloe gin) but it fitted with ease. The fine mesh filter caught the particles of Sloe which had passed through the coarser filters used in the early stages of filtration. I did not have a need to use the included coarse metal filter and suspect that it would, due to its small area, quickly clog.

Got this for making Jam and is a perfect size...coming in handy for a great number of things around the kitchen, so is great it is stainless steel, making it easy to clean, and even comes with its own brush! The filter is also very useful, but not as easy to clean but replacements can be found when this gets too clogged.

I bought this funnel as I am all foraged up and am going to start this years preserving and my old funnel, although wonderful and has been with me for years, does have a taper to it, which means that some pulp can build up and you end up having to wiggle a wire down it to get things moving again on a regular basis.I was going to buy the main brand one but it was out of stock so selected this one as it has the straight tube on the funnel I am looking for.It is about right for jam jar, but if you are pickling or fermenting you will find this far too small, cabbage etc will not go through this funnel.The things that bothered me when I first unpacked and washed it, was the thickness and also the build style makes for difficulty in cleaning / possibility of germs building up - I have included photos so you can see what I am rambling on about;1 - the funnel tube is not a continuous part, no smooth edges , but is rolled metal fused onto the cone part of the funnel - this leaves a lip both inside and outside that can allow build up and is impossible to clean, even with a wire brush, and sterilising it just means you will be sterilising the top layer of gunk and the rest is happily breeding.2 - not only is the funnel tube not a continuation of the cone, it is also seamed,made froma rolled piece of flat metal fused together leaving a seam both on the outside - see photo - the dark line in the centre is the seam, you can easily feel it as it is raised and rough, and inside - I could not get a good shot of the inside but it is the same. This means more possibilities for build up and unwanted colonies.3. The metal used is quite thin, and this makes me think that it will not last very long, which given the above is probably best - I think I will have to ditch this funnel after one seasons use, and for the above mentioned health reasons I think this is best anyway and I will hopefully be able to get a branded straight tube funnel for next season that i can keep as I dislike thowing anything away but am not going to risk health issues due to poor manufacturing.

Very sturdy and well made stainless steel funnel. With the added bonus of both a removable strainer insert, and an artificial, washable muslin attachment. Used for straining sloe gin and works perfectly. The wide tube also allows liquid to drain quickly

Muy bien terminado, cumple perfectamente la función de filtrado del aceite de cocina. Si sólo se quiere retirar los restos más voluminosos, el filtro metálico va perfecto. Si se quiere un filtrado más exigente, los filtros plásticos te lo proporcionan, aunque necesitará algo más de tiempo. Todo se puede lavar en lavavajillas o a mano, usando el cepillo para la zona estrecha del embudo.

Tout dans l'ensemble est très bien. Petite réserve sur la tige du tamis interne en métal qui a les 2 pieds flexibles pour pouvoir rentrer dans la tige de l'entonnoir. Solide dans le temps ? À voir. Mais je m'apprête à en acheter 2 autres pour offrir.

Benutze den Trichter für selber hergestellte Liköre. War in letzter Zeit im Dauereinsatz.Alles super - einfach nach der Benutzung kurz abspülen, fertig.Keinerlei Spuren von Rost oder sonstiges.Ich empfehle diesen Trichter zu 100% weiter.Viel Spaß damit!

Sehr gute Qualität und optisch toll und funktional. Nicht zu vergleichen mit einem Plastiktrichter. Absolut empfehlenswert!!
