This worked so PERFECTLY!I was perplexed on how to span a long area over slider without having to put a middle bracket and have it not sag. I wanted to keep them all to the right .out of the time . It's over 100". This metal thing enabled me to do so WITHOUT ANY SAG!!! It is strong and now my curtains will be able to slide and stay to the right when not in use. I was looking at so many other options that would have cost me $100 or more.THANKYOU SO MUCH!!!

Arrived in raw silver finish
I ordered two in brown but they both arrived in raw metal silver. I had to spray paint them but it all worked out. I used a light hammer to bend or close up one end. Very easy to do. The other end fit fine over my existing rod. These made my very long curtain rod much sturdier. Much better than those little plastic connectors that came with the rod.

Problem solved! Works perfectly
Drapes with cafe rings bump and get caught on extendable curtain rods. This allowed me to order two full haves and join them in the middle. The rods were longer than I needed. My center bracket hides my less than perfect cut. The connector squeezes slightly onto the rod for a nice fit.

They need improvement
The concept is good. They go into the rods with a little effort - tight fit - which is good. They keep the rods connected - no issue there. I just think the design is flawed - especially with a long span of rods. They need to be longer to keep the rods from sagging. The sagging is t horrible - but I notice it. Maybe I can fix this with a long wooden dowel instead. These might be perfect for lighter curtain jobs - but only so-so for more expansive/heavier curtains
