So great. This is the item you always think is a lazy waste of money, but once you buy it, you wonder how you ever lived without it. These little containers are incredible. They are the perfect size for any sandwich bread (with enough room to even do the sandwich-cutting while it’s in the container... rather than do the “cut it first and then watch it fall apart as you transport it” method). They have never had a factory stench to them, even when they arrived new. I wash them in the dishwasher top rack and they have never faded or significantly warped. One time, I noticed one of the lids was a bit askew after a wash cycle. “Oh, no!” I thought. But alas, it still pressed and clicked into place just fine on the corresponding bottom portion. In fact, by the time its use was finished for the day and I went to rinse it out, the lid had re-straightened itself simply by being affixed to its bottom container! Uh, that’s amazing quality if you ask me! The seal is superior and keeps your food fresh even with the plastic handles being easy for children to open without assistance. Seriously, I love them so much, just writing this review has made me want to buy another set! Thank you for such a fantastic product! Lunches will never be the same again.

We purchased 3 of these and used them daily for the entire school year. At the end of the year one of them finally had a slight crack (still usable) in the edge, but my kids were rough with them. Bought the colored ones to use in the future (I have 5 kids and some of them like different sandwich spreads.) LOVE the way they clip shut, are dishwasher safe, and stack in the fridge so easily when I'm making sandwiches the night before. Great little containers!

As I was perusing other reviews for this product I noticed quite a few people did NOT recommend using these for liquids. I'm going to assume they mean liquid runny similar to salad dressing versus liquid as thick as ketchup/ranch dressing. I use these religiously in my children's Sistema Lunch Collection Lunch Cube and they fit perfectly with enough room for one serving of cut-up vegetables next to it. They are the perfect size and portion for peanut butter/ranch/ketchup/honey mustard/hummus/bean dip/spreadable cream cheese for cut-up veggies in one section of that container. They are durable, easy to wash and adorable in their variety of colors. The only possible negative is they are latched by small hinge snaps so when hand washing keep that in mind they can possibly snap off (but can be easily snapped back on!). Highly recommend!!!

Nice sandwich boxes. They seal up well and seem to be leak-proof. They are large enough for non-standard bread but not huge pieces. They also are only deep enough for basic sandwiches--two pieces of bread and two fillings or so. If you want to stack your sandwich up, it is probably best to bring thick things like your tomatoes separately anyway and you can use one of these boxes to hold them without leaks. I make sandwiches, put them in these boxes and freeze them. I then put them in my pack before I leave on my hike and by lunchtime the sandwiches are thawed and perfect. No problem with these boxes in the freezer.

When I first found these, I got them at Target a long time ago. Now you can only find the round containers instead of the cubed ones at the store. I couldn't find this type anywhere but was very happy to have found them on Amazon. I love how the lids securely lock in place and that the cubes are stackable and hold a lot of my supplements. I have not tried putting liquid in them, so I have no way of accurately rating the product for that. Either way, I'm so glad I was able to find these. Thank you.

Have a few Sistema products for a decade+ and they outlasted all other brands... so decided to go full in. They are not leak proof but they they do well with cut fruit and other items will some liquids when stored flat in fridge. Look elsewhere for leak proof for travel (sandwiches travel well in these though) Note: the largest container in the 16 piece set is 101oz/3liter, not 96oz as in description. The 16 pieces is better than the 20 pieces for us because we dont use the tiny ones much. When the lid gets very dirty, the sealer band can be removed and lid fully cleaned easily - great feature.

I love these containers

I like these -- they are bigger than the ounce pots also made by Sistema, which makes them useful for a summer's worth of rapid-rise yeast, baking soda, confectioner's sugar. In short, I need airtight handy storage (the attractive colours and easy lid cips are a bonus) for items that matter but are only needed in small quantities. They could also, in future, be useful for my art supplies -- erasers, pencil shavings, pastel stumps, any number of things that need to be kept dry and secure in a small space.

I recently purchased the Sistema Sandwich Box Set, which comes in three vibrant colors: pink, blue, and turquoise. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product!The boxes are the perfect size for sandwiches and fit easily into lunch bags without taking up too much space.
