I use it for lighting the fire pit and my cigars. I originally purchased and loved it so much I got for two of my friends as well. however, the lighter is good and sturdy, but it does tend to teeter when stood up on a counter. We where at the outside bar, someone stood it up and the wind blew, and the lighter fell off the bar and onto the concrete patio, so it broke. I order a new one the same day that is how much I love it! Now we just lay it down!

Great starting point for a custom torch build. After some barrel modifications to increase airflow and fuel mixing with a vortex style design and adding a T-line that leads to a much smaller secondary nozzle for added fuel this thing is a BEAST!!! It's definitely an angry flame and the sound is nasty as it gets! Sounds like you could get sucked into the barrel and with a giant piezo ignition from a water heater plus plasma ignition on tap it lights first time every time. It's loud and around 2,600 degrees Fahrenheit. No sneaking to the bathroom with this bad boy. It's loud and proud and will literally punch a 4" hole through a beer can in under 5 seconds! Oh yeah, GET SOME!!!

I've gone through several handheld lighters/torches during camping trips trying to find one that will work consistently and at different angles. This is the one. Puts out a strong flame that is adjustable. No complaints.

Big flame - great for lighting a fireplace and such, but be careful. Turn it sideways or upside down and light it - expect a fireball on all of your fingers. Adults only here....

It's a nice looking and heavy weight lighter. But it leaks out all the Butane Fuel I put in it in about 10 to 15 minutes. Making it almost useless to use!!!!
