Bought the Alien Gear Shape Shift Core Carry Pack last month and I have been very happy with it. I always want to buy various holster configurations for any guns that I carry and would need differnt products for different conditions. This pack covers everything in one box and for a very affordable price considering what it comes with. You get IWB which is very comfortable and can be configured different ways for comfort, including appendix carry There are different choices in OWB including including Paddle, double and single belt loop. They even include an extra attachment that you can mount in your car or to a piece of furniture that the holster will attach to for quick access. One great feature other that excellent comfort is that you need no tool to change configurations. When you first open the box, the first thing you notice is that this kit comes with a lot of parts but after five minutes of looking things over it's very simple and easy to reconfigure. Very interesting concept in holsters.

Compared to the much less expensive "Concealment Express" Inside the Waist Band (IWB) KYDEX Holster, the Alien Gear ShapeShift Core (AGSSC) in the Appendix IWB configuration is pretty unremarkable. For a holster solution that claims to be "minimalist", it's far from it. It's noticeably bulkier than a true "minimalist" KYDEX holster. I'm a thin guy and the AGSSC AIWB configuration showed through my shirt way too noticeably. I could not conceal adequately. Although it is more comfortable due to the "Alien skin" back padding, it makes it MUCH harder to reholster your firearm without a rigid backing to keep the opening large enough. The retention is acceptable however. The plastic clips for AIWB are too weak and don't instill much confidence that it will withstand much force in the very short-term. For CCW, there's no way this hits the mark in either AIWB or at the 4:30 carry position simply due to the combined thickness of the shells. It might be ok for Outside the Waist Band though. In the end there are just too many individual components to make a given configuration and you end up getting a mediocre experience and quality in all of them. I don't expect to ever find the "perfect" AIWB, OWB or 430 solution, but at $100+ there's no reason this shouldn't be at least near twice as good as a $35 alternative... and it isn't.

They make a very high quality product, but be prepared for the weakness in the base plate when on the OWB belt application, wearing it in the 3 o'clock or 4 o'clock positions. It tends to warp the base plate enough to make it where, even with the tensioner completely loose, the pistol will bind in the shell enough to rack the slide back half an inch when putting the pistol back in the holster. Cannot deploy the S&W M&P Shield quickly at all. The appendix carry holster is good, the IWB set up is good, the paddle carry is way to bulky and sticks out from the hip too far. Also, when corresponding with Alien Gear people, each email I actually got a reply from, was from a different person and there was apparently no communication between them since none knew what the other said. Then, the past 3 emails I've sent, I have not even gotten a response. I am planning on sending this pak back to them, if I can figure how to do it.

If you have a medium/large gun don’t waste your time with the bundle just buy the owb beltslider. On my 1911 fs they are protrude away from your body way too much. I also bought the backpack attachment, same story sticks out way too far and makes it a hinderance. That being said, The holster and it’s parts all seem quality and well built.

I have to give it two stars. Came normal time, Aliengear is a great holster. Two issues, my box when i got it was messed up and what do you know, my rention adjuster is no where to be found. So now I have to order one from Aliengear. Have to wait on that to carry. Very very pissed about that. Top 3 most important parts! Can’t use any carry style besides clip OWB because you can’t change the retention to hold the gun other carry ways. Highly Pissed. I don’t think this was Aliengear faults either this is what i get from buying from a third party seller. Which, I think ended up take the retention adjuster out of the box for themselves because the box was opened prior to coming to me.

Do not buy this product it is not worth it it does not I repeat does not fit the 92fs no matter what configuration you have or try and is not comfortable at all and the draw on the gun is extremely tight in my opinion its not worth trying to even get a refund or exchange

Pretty happy with the alien gear core carry pack so far! Very comfortable. Multiple options which is very nice.. and I actually went to alien gears website and purchase an extra shell for 40 bucks so I can actually have 2 holsters set up at once for 2 different guns! For that I love the versatility.. solid holster if u want this design

The ShapeShift Core Carry Pack is simply revolutionary. Watched a quick Youtube video from Alien Gear showing the easy assembly and disassembly of the 4 different carry options. I use this holster every day and will continue to do so. 5 stars.
