Delightful Chef Steamer Basket Stainless Steel Vegetable Folding Collapsible Insert for Various Size Pots

It works, but not well. It is very thin so if the basket isn't full or the weight isn't equally distributed inside of it then it tips over inside your kettle and your steamed veggies become soaked and more like boiled veggies. The legs fall off so easily. Also, the legs are so tall you end up using a stock pot to steam enough veggies for 2 people. Growing up my mom had one of these and we used it almost daily, it must have been much higher quality than this one because I want to throw this away. I would not recommended buying this.

Exactly as described. Works great for steaming and adjusts to the size of the pot you use as long as it isn't too large. It appears to be pretty fragile but no problems to date. I just fold it up to its smallest size for storage, has little feet to keep it off the bottom of a pan that clip in, I just leave them on because I think they would be too easy to misplace. All in all I like it especially for the cost.

You should be aware that the legs are a full 1 1/2 inches long, twice as long as my previous basket. This means there is less room in your pot for the vegetables and the pot lid may not even fit if the edges of the basket extend above the sides of the pot as they do with my favorite pot. Also, it makes it distinctly harder to fit into a crowded kitchen drawer. Since you only need 1/4 inch of water to steam vegetables this leg length is annoying. They were clearly trying to reduce the cost by using the same metal pieces for the legs as they use for the central handle.

I/we really enjoy this little guy. It came in the mail, on time, as promised. At first, I was a bit disappointed at its size. It was rather small. Boy, I was pleasant surprised when this little guy folded out into a much bigger steamer! We steamed pot stickers for dinner and got 24 on it! Awesome product that I would recommend to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

Bless you Delightful Chef! I've always hated that middle thing that pokes up in the middle of the basket. You gave me a choice to have it or not have it with the simple installation of brilliant designed inserts for legs and that "always in the way" safety feature in the center of the basket. I wish the government gave me a choice to take care of my own safety! Thanks for the great design. I feel like an adult who can cook as I please now!

The steam basket worked as expected. I've steamed carrots, green beans, mushrooms, asparagus and broccoli. Very easy to use and fits my 3 quart pot. It user friendly and easy to wash. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to transition to a healthy diet.

I bought this steamer to use with my new instant pot. I like the fact that the leg inserts sit higher than some of the other steamer baskets that look the same. This means there is no chance of your veggies sitting in the water. I have used this a couple of times and it works great.

The handle isn't sturdy and doesn't stay attached if you're trying to use it as a handle. It easily becomes off center and the legs are too high. While trying to remove hot items it tips and the legs aren't sturdy. It does what it needs to do, though.
