Pretty good Tac Vest and should be seriously considered.
I bought this vest to replace an older military type I have had for years. I read the customer reviews on it and several others. Each of the Amazon recommended ones all had some poor review and those listed problems with construction and durability. Also holsters that did not stay in place when moving. But most people gave this vest s good review, and better than others. Sadly the price has increased and that could hurt the reviews. Okay when it arrived the box seemed pretty light and I was concerned that the vet would be a dud. But upon opening it and having a seamstress friend look at it it is well constructed, After initial examination I tried it on and it was small. But I adjusted the side straps and it fit me well. 6' tall around 230 pounds. And I can make it larger to accommodate wearing extra stuff under it. I did not test with armor yet.The holster is well attached and does not appear to have problems with movement. It fit a S&W police issue 40 cal pistol nd could fit a larger pistol like a 45. The pistol ammo pouches seem a bit small for modern magazines. They barely accommodated 15 round magazines, which are pretty standard. One problem with the holster placement is if you carry an AR-15 slung across your chest it covers the holster completely and requires some tricky maneuvering to get the pistol out. If you carry your AR in single mount sling mode it is not a problem. The larger Ammo ouches, there are 4 of them accommodate two 30 round magazines each, so you can carry 8 of them. (Hopefully no will ever need that much ammo, but nice to have the ability. The chest and shoulder pockets are small and irregular shaped, but have usefulness. The inside pockets are huge. Easily able to stuff a tablet into and a phone and other needed stuff. (Snacks and note pads come to mind)What made me happy was fully loaded out with ammo and pistol and such the vest was very comfortable, and did not seem as heavy as the military vest it is replacing. An important thing for a long day. While I am not using it on a daily basis I think it will work in such use. The only thing that was strange is the zipper is backwards and I think maybe these were originally designed for women. I was also not impressed by it being made in China. ( I found this out when I opened the package) I gave it a four star on the durability rating as I have not had it long enough to know how durable it will prove to be. I will do a follow up review after I have lived with it for a while. But it seems like a good vest and should e considered if your looking for one. As I said the price went up like $30.00 so it is a bit pricey now but we wil see if you get what you paid for.

After several other candidates, I finally found my tactical vest
FOURTH time's a charm! After trying three other brands of tactical vests, this one finally fit my needs. I'm glad I spent a bit more; my other attempts were $30-45 USD. I paid $63 for this one and it was definitely worth the upgrade. GLORYFIRE hit the sweet spot between value, features, workmanship, and durability. Vests in the $100-200 range may be comparable, but none seemed to really offer anything that this one didn't.I'm an averaged-sized, somewhat athletic, right-handed male. 5'-10", 170lbs. Other vests were all too girthy, restrictive, and cumbersome, even without being fully loaded, and I questioned the durability of their stitching and materials. The belts all hung too low, interfering with other hip-belt accessories. Their cross-draw holsters were all too tight for my pistol with its tac-light/laser attachment, and two of them used only velcro to attach it to the vest, which simply could NOT hold up to fast walking, much less running. In all these areas, the GLORYFIRE got it right. The shoulder adjustment straps were accommodating to my torso size, without feeling awkward once doubled over into a tighter fit. The belt did not hang too low; I'm able to attach other accessories to my pants/hip belt with relatively good accessibility. When fully loaded, it's surprisingly comfortable and free-moving.The crossdraw holster is the best I've seen on a vest. PLENTY of room for full size pistols: 1911, Beretta, Sig Sauer (even WITH its tac laser/light combo). It's MOLLE (no velcro) so it's not going to bounce off while running and you can shift it around on the grid some for placement flexibility. Unfortunately, it's a perpendicular grid; I'd prefer it was canted to 45 degrees for better draw access. But I was able to manipulate the MOLLE straps for a slightly better angle. I also added a couple of velcro straps to secure it better to the webbing. Holds nice and snug now and bounces FAR less than without them. The four rifle mag pouches all hold two AR-15 30-rd magazines (albeit snugly) or a single AK-47 30-rd magazine. The four pistol mag pouches on the chest and holster all easily accommodate 15-rd Sig Sauer or Beretta 9mm magazines. However, they only barely fit in the two pistol mag belt pouches. I'd not trust them running or prone. Best to use these for other items (e.g. flashlight, knife, or small mags for a compact backup pistol), or remove them entirely (they snap off quickly) and make room for other accessories on the belt (e.g. cuffs, baton, other mag pouches). The MOLLE webbing on the back was an added bonus. I mounted a shotgun scabbard and was impressed with how comfortable and easy it was to withdraw from.If other, cheaper makes are falling short for your needs, give this one a try.

Glory fire 1000D cordura tactical vest
This vest is of good build,1000D cordura,4-30 rnd.AR/AK Mag holders ( take out the top flaps, to fit AK mags)4 -semi auto ( I fit 4, double stack .45acp)3, on vest chest,1 on holster5 12 ga. .2-3/4" Shot shells..up to 20 more in pocket (16 comfortably)And a holster...( I replaced with a"OneTigress" 505)Now it runs short, and small.. I'm short, and big..wear a 42" waistWith a beer belly..and its extended to max .I can zip it..but it pulls forward and down ,fully loaded.and the worst thing. the zipper is BACKWARDS....cant get used to it..I gotta have it replaced..I think most tactical vests under $60. Are made in China, and will be back wards and small ( but it did go around me,and with belt... its still short, but passable)..but..after taking the top flaps off AK mag pouch,(velcroed in) and adding velcro to both sides of vest openings where the 3 adjustable straps are..and velcro to flaps..I found that I can fill the sides in with 3 flaps on each side..and now it stays much more still and is more comfortable.( looks cool too) Im going to have them sewn in, instead of velcro, when I have the zipper replaced..now...I will enjoy this vest. One star off for zipper!

Excellent vest.
I'm a big guy.....6'2'' + and around 250 lbs. A lot of vests won't fit my large chest. This one fits well and is super adjustable. Not heavy, but well made. Great variety of pockets and hidey holes for gear. The chest mounted holster is too large for my backup weapon, which is a micro 1911, but I put a pocket holster inside it and that solved the problem. My primary weapon I carry in a tactical holster that actually attaches to the bottom of the vest. Well worth the money.
