DIYHD 11FT Stair Black Pipe Handrail with 3 Wall Mount Supports,Rustic Black,Round Corner Style

Got 2 sets of 10 feet for my son's townhome witch had no handrails on the up stairs or downstairs steps. They must of been removed because the house would of never passed inspection when new. We priced wooden rails and they were very expensive. These 1" pipe rails are reasonable priced (it's really pipe) and were easy to put on once some studs were located. Both stairs had some portion of a pipe base connector lining up with a stud. Once installed, my son loved the look. Very modern and not taking up a huge amount of space on the stairs. On a side note: we also got a pipe style bar rack (with fake faucet) for his bar area which matched the theme of the pipes. Very cool!

Initially ordered a rail that was too long but the return and reorder was fast and easy. No problems installing it and it complaints our old house really well.

Looks perfect I just love it

the railing is well made, very sturdy and looks great. i am confident in its ability to hold up to regular use. as to quality there weren't any defects whatsoever. the only thing to keep in mind however is placement.important to remember that due to the design you cannot move where the screws/mounts go in at all. for newer homes with standard stud placement this wouldn't be an issue. however for our century plus old home it was a problem.while we could find a stud for the first mount we could not line it up for the second and third. we ended up using a different, butterfly type screw/bolt mounting system to get it into place behind the plaster wall.once up and installed i could not be happier with the end results. one nice thing about this finish is that it does not hold any fingerprints at all. also the shape of the bar is perfect for getting a good solid grip onto if needed.

My recommendations are not exactly what the instructions stated. I bought the 13 foot. The instructions stated to put the unit together, mark holes, install. I ended up marking the first set of holes, installing, then connect pipe and phalange. Install next piece and move on. Total install took maybe an hour. I used a drill to pre drill holes, a manual screw driver to install (because of the angles). Love it!

If you are mounting on drywall, keep in mind that the rise of stairs often varies and not all of the hand rail wall mounts will line up with wall studs. One or more will need to be mounted with drywall mounts. I was able to get 4 of 8 mounts to align with studs in the wall for my project, and I used the included drywall anchors for the others. That said, it seems to be very solid and supportive.Don't worry if the pieces are not firmly screwed together when you first mount it. You can tighten them until their is no rotation once it is mounted on the wall.The railing looks good and the wife is happy with it, so that means I'm satisfied.

Each of the joints easily screw into each other, and with the help of a masonry bit set I was easily able to secure it well with the provided screws. This gave me a support point for my historic home previously without them. Looks great and was easy to setup.

Because of the nature of this rail, you don't have wiggle room with studs so make sure you're going to be able to drill into one for each of the wall connectors. If you do, you will be really happy with this rail. It's very sturdy and can fit a lot of decor styles.It's got a cast iron look and is really simple but fit my style. Ottima robustezza e confezione ineccepibile, ma prezzo decisamente elevato. I pezzi di cui formato l'oggetto si possono trovare in qualsiasi negozio di idraulica spendendo molto meno.

Molto complicato il montaggio, nel senso che le filettature non permettono di unire i pezzi in modo efficace. Ho dovuto ricorrere alla canapa e alla pasta per idraulici. La qualità comunque è buona.

Nous avons voulu faite l'installation hier et nous ne comprenons pas que la fixation du milieu ne se visse pas aux autres sections. Est-ce normal? Merci de votre réponse.
