This holster is for a Charter Arms Bulldog, 2.5" barrel .44 Spl… Not a mainstream revolver and not easy to find holsters for same! With the holster maker (Pusat) located in Turkey and the gun being "not mainstream" I was a little reluctant to order but, with Amazon backing the operation, what could go wrong?The holster arrived, from Turkey, in four days!! it is a very nicely crafted piece of leather that looks to be about 8 ounce leather. The tan color and stitching look great. The holster is pre-molded for the Bulldog.Because the leather is 8 ounce, I think it might stretch a bit as it breaks in- we will see. The thumb break hammer strap is about 3/4" too long and Pusat immediately offered to replace it. I declined as I think I can replace the snap for a more snug fit (this might be a good place to start my leather working hobby).I would buy from Pusat again and we'll see if they can offer any holsters for any more odd handguns that I might have...

Great quality, perfect fit for my Charter Arms Bulldog .44 special

This is a decent holster for the money and shipping was very fast considering it came from Turkey. It’s not El Paso Saddlery quality, but their lead times have gotten very long given current conditions, and I needed something quicker. It’s listed as fitting a Charter Arms Bulldog, but is a little loose. My guess is that it’s really for a K-frame Smith and Wesson. That being said, it’s comfortable and does what it’s supposed to.

I purchased this for my Charter Arms Bulldog 44 SP. It is exactly what I wanted. The gun fits perfectly and the belt loops are more than adequate. The thumb release works pretty good. It takes a little force to draw quickly, but I feel that, with some break-in, it will get easier. It does ride a bit high, but it's not a big deal. Leather feels like good quality.

Lovely craftsmanship. Took about 2 and a half weeks to arrive. Shipping was half the price of the holster. When I put my Bulldog in it fit perfectly...too perfectly by far. Drawing it from the holster is nigh impossible. The cylinder snags on both sides of the holster to such a degree that it renders the rig absolutely useless. Until I cut off the thumb break and cut back the holster below the back of the cylinder, it won't be usable. Even then, re-holstering will be impossible until I reinforce the new mouth of the holster. The leather is gorgeous but just too thin and soft to make a proper pancake holster that functions correctly. The craftsmanship is fantastic but again, too-soft leather combined with too deep a molded fit makes this a pistol trap instead of a useful holster.

Finally an OWB holster for my Charter Arms Bulldog that didn't break the bank! I'm old school so I like leather with a quick release thumb snap. For the money I am impressed by the quality of this holster.
