My darling granddaughter is almost two years old. Her older sisters have musical jewelry boxes that I have given them over the years. Baby Sweet Pea, loves her sisters' musical jewelry boxes but is still a bit too rough to handle them properly. The magnetic, spinning, and durable wooden swans are perfect for her little hands. Even though she can't twist the wind up key but once or twice she can request assistance. Placing her magnetic swans atop of the lake elates her with great satisfaction. The music is not too rapid, the Swan Lake song is soothing and brings my Sweet Pea a sense of joy and accomplishment.

The media could not be loaded. Very nice appearance and color. The quality seems decent. The swans have magnet inside of them that connect to magnet inside of box. The magnets inside swan seem like they are unreachable to little hands. The swans come right off the box, which is great for toddlers who want to rip everything off of everything (at least mine does). So we will definitely be loosing these poor birds everyday but hopefully the bright color of the swans will make them easy to spot around my home. The only thing I don’t really like about it is that the swans don’t really spin… they just kind of wobble on there. In the few minutes I ran one swan solo, it did one spin. So if you are buying this for the spinning, don’t. This is just a good starter music box for little ones because swans are playable, it isn’t as breakable as glass or porcelain, and also isn’t heavy at all. You may need to turn the knob for very tiny ones because it’s a little tough but probably something that will ease up. I’d say good for ages baby-5 years old could really enjoy this. With its size, I’d say little ones will probably transport it around with both hands, but it isn’t super large or small. It’s just right for toddlers IMO. If only the swans spinned I would give 5 stars.

I purchased this as a gift for my grandchild since it reminded me of the one I had as a child; real wood instead of plastic. The dancing swans were so enchanting I almost wished it was mine to keep. The music is beautiful and clear sounding. I know this will create a magical memory for her.

This twirling swan, music box was a gift to my niece. Both my niece and her mom have enjoyed it. It is colorful, well-made, and the music plays without issues. Would recommend.
