it is as advertised. adds a great sour for a sweet sour taste in a lot of Eastern , Middle Eastern, and North African cooking.

This is great for adding that sour note to Thai dishes when you want something with more punch than lime juice. It's also great excellent in cocktails -- who knew? Just dissolve the paste in a small amount of very hot water. I made a winter version of Margaritas for movie night with tequila, Grand Marnier & tamarind replacing the lime juice & they were yummy! Gotta amuse ourselves as best we can during Covid. :)

The lid is broken and sub standard

The tamarind is a concentrate not a paste. The product is very tangy and not sweet.

This is delicious mixed into a beverage with lemon & OJ.

I received a product that expires in two months for something that has a self life of two year. ( Jun 2022 to May 2024). I gave an overall bad review only because of this . The product itself is good.

I disliked that one of two of my items that I purchased came broken i was really needing It that day luckily I purchased it again but now thats money down the drain for me.

Really disappointed in receiving this tamarind paste 6 months before its expiration date. Normally, these have about two to years to expire when you buy them. We have another organic jar from another brand with some paste left that won't be expiring until 2022. It seems like this one had been sitting on the shelf and they just sent it.
