F.M. Brown's Tropical Carnival Natural Select Seeds Treat - Fiber, Antioxidants, and Essential Minerals for Hamsters, Gerbils, Rats, and Mice - 3.5 oz

This product used to contain what I believe were small cream colored melon seeds. My dwarf hamster was INSANE for them. I bought 3 bags so I had them on hand. None of the bags contained a single melon seed. I’m disappointed. My little BILLIE, despondent.

This bag lasts forever!!! My hamsters also love the assortment of seeds inside. I give them anywhere between 1-3 seeds each (I have two robo hamsters) every time I clean their cage and refill their food. I try not to give them too many because the people at Petco told me that too many seeds are not good for them. They also advised me to feed them food that does not contain seeds mixed in because then they just pick out the seeds and leave the healthy bits.My hamsters get super excited when I start cleaning the cage because they associate the activity with seeds/treats haha. They run up to the second platform in my cage to greet me and then rub up against my hand/fingers until I give them seeds. I have also used these seeds to train them into not fearing me. When I put my hand down, they automatically climb on my hand because I will give them one treat after I lift them out of the cage.I definitely recommend getting this for your hammies!

The size of the bag is lower down in description and in light gray, look closely at the picture and you can see how many ounces.. IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE HEADING, I WOULDN'T HAVE BOTHERED. I won't be purchasing again.. BUY A 2LB BAG OF Kaytee mouse food instead for 5.39..

My hamster is very picky and only likes pumpkin, sunflower, and cantaloupe seeds. Which I found out after trying many other treat bags that had rice, dried fruit, pasta, and other pieces in it; and all she did was walk away from them and selectively pull out the sunflower seeds. It became really wasteful and I was excited when I found this mix because she does like all of the seeds in this bag and its the only one that I have found. It's a good size and this does last her quite awhile since these are occasional treats so I would say this is a great buy!

Perfect treat for my hamster. Anytime I walk up to the cage with one of these in my hand my syrian comes running down to have his snack. He seriously loves these treats and I think if I gave him the whole bag he'd eat himself to death. That being said, be careful to limit these because one day I noticed he was getting kind of chubby and I realized both me and my bf had been feeding him two seeds a day, so make sure to keep these as a training tool or good behavior snack!

As you may or may not know, dwarf hamsters are prone to diabetes so sugar should be avoided as much as possible. It is very hard to find treats in a pet store that do not contain honey or some kind of fruits, so this is really ideal for dwarf hamsters.I feed one seed every other day (on average, not by a schedule or anything) and Mittens loves the variety of seeds. I also purchased unsalted peanuts and those are great too. Highly recommend for dwarf hamsters or hamsters that need to added sugar diets!

my hamster loves this stuff, My only advice is to mix it in with his food maybe 1 or 2 times a week because you dont want your pet to become a picky eater and not want him/her to eat their daily food that they still need. Overall one of his Favorites for a healthy snack.

Both my mice and gerbils love the seed combination. Definitely will continue to buy this for them

Way too expensive for the amount of food. My 3 rats will probably have this gone in 2 days max since I like to put seed food in with their regular food to keep them from getting bored. Absolutely not worth the money considering if have to buy it probably about 3 times a week to meet my girls needs. If it wasn't so scarce at the pet store I'd be able to buy a *much* bigger bag for about $12.

My spiny mouse and hamsters love this! The bag is small but this is NOT meant to be fed as food alone! This is only a treat and should be fed as such. I sprinkle a little pinch into my pets food or offer the seeds individually as a reward.

My hamster like this treat mix, except for the tiny seeds that she always leaves in the bowl. So part of it does get wasted. Maybe I just have a picky eater though. But mostly she loves this seed treat mix.

Gerbils love it a lot, especially the pumpkin seeds. My second bag, my gerbil are mad when they don't get those treats.

The package is way too small and pricey, not worth it..
