Raptor 50052FLT Flowtech Raptor Turbo Performance Muffler

With manifolds, no cats, and this muffler dumped behind the door my 1997 Ram is 5.9 Magnum is raspy and mean sounding, almost too loud for my wife to ride in. I really didnt want it this loud but it sounds mean!

The manufacturer didn't bother to say it was really not a muffler. It does nothing to cut down on the exhaust noise.

This muffler has a nice tone and looks/holds up pretty well. Its not loud in low rpm but in mid rpms you hear a nice rumble. It runs at 90db open and about 80db standing(this is with a stock setup with intake, maybe louder on straight pipes(catback) without resonator and converter. Best thing with this muffler is there is no drone when at a constant speed so its highway/long travel friendly. On Wot it really opens up and roars, on 4 cylinder engines there is no nasty "Brrrruuppphh" sound, but a nice clean mellow performance rumble. Performance wise there is a small difference. Same with mpg, I say maybe 1-2mpg increase on my part thats if your not lead footing for a sound. Its definitely worth the buy if you want a performance muffler sound a tad bit louder than stock but not as loud as bullets or cannons.

these mufflers sound real good, and they are a lot cheaper than most other turbo mufflers. when I start my next project I will most likely order another set.

Not much of a muffler. Poor crimps on edges. Louder than the rotted muffler I pulled off. Sound quality is raspy and the resonance is god awful. Good for noise and attention, not for anything else. 2* for price and the fact it looks like the photo. Welds well.

Good product for the this price. Inlet/outlet inner diameter is 2.5 inch. Installed this on my 2003 F-150.

Purchased this for my Ford E250 work van, old muffled rotted out and needed something to quiet the truck down if i leave for a call at 3:00 in the morning and don't want to piss all of my neighbors off. As long as I keep my foot out of the throttle it has a pretty low growl, acceptable in my opinion for a 3am departure. If i get my foot on it, like accelerating onto the interstate, it really wakes up and sounds pretty good.What attracted me most to this muffler is the price. It gets the job done, has an acceptable noise level, its lasted at least one Iowa winter so far, and see many more to come.

i love this muffler at first i didnt think it would work. but after a few week driving with this on my truck it sounds and feels awesome to drive knowing my truck is quiet
