Re-stretch sweaters! Clean designer scarves
I bought this because I wanted to clean a $$$$ Burberry scarf without ruining it. It did the job wonderfully, and the fragrance is amazing. I also used it to wash wool blend sweaters that had shrunken when washed in a machine on delicate/cold. After soaking the sweater for 30 minutes, rinse once (never wringing) then I laid it on a white towel, rolled it up to remove the moisture, and re-stretched the sweater to its original size Then I let it dry.For the Burberry scarf, I soaked it in cold, water, mixed with a cap full of the linen wash for about 20 minutes. Then I drained the sink and rinse the scarf FIVE times with cool water. This makes sure your scarf stays soft and subtle to the touch. Without ever ringing it, just swish it around in the clear, cool water then I laid it on a clean towel and carefully rolled it up and pressed (never wring)Just press the moisture out. Then I hung the scarf to dry on the drying rack. Perfect! This linen wash has also removed spots and stains perfectly.

Love this silk detergent
I got unscented due to my partner having sensitive skin. Works excellent on our silk bedding, little goes a long way.

Perfect for sweaters and silk
Works marvellously on cashmere and on silk pillowcases.

Safe for silk and wool.
I have used this detergent to hand wash silk and wool with excellent results. You only need a very small amount so it is not as ridiculously expensive as it might seem. The scent is very floral which I like.

Fragrance-free & non-irritating - and it seems to an adequate job of cleaning
I wasn't going to review this laundry product until I had had a chance to use it with silk and wool items, but then I realized that that may not happen until the rather distant future. So far I have done two loads of sweaters, tops, and lingerie (one light, one dark), and only one item was a blend of silk/cotton; everything else was nylon or cotton or spandex - and that is likely to be my washing pattern nearly always. I do have some silk dresses that I love, and I always take those to the dry cleaners. My husband is a redhead and has ALWAYS had very sensitive skin; mine was only moderately sensitive when I was younger, but has gradually grown worse as I've aged. I had to give away all my wool sweaters that actually came in contact with my skin (even alpaca and cashmere); I do still have cardigans, but have to make sure I wear something non-irritating underneath. So, for several years now I've been on a continuous search for fragrance-free, color-free, "hypo-allergenic" products that will also do an adequate job of cleaning. Since we live in a smallish city, I have to buy most of these products on the Internet. Frequently when I do find something that seems pretty good, I can't find it again when I run out!!! So, I bought the LeBlanc wash after a fairly lengthy search on Amazon; the 64 oz. amount seemed somewhat excessive for a household of two - but from the product descriptions, the LeBlanc seemed the one that best fit our needs of mildness, yet adequate cleaning. So, I've used it twice - cold water for the darks, lukewarm for the light colors, with a double rinse. I air-dry the stuff that might be damaged in the dryer (e.g. bras, swimsuits, some sweaters, etc.), and dry the rest at the lowest heat setting in the dryer. It worked fine, and neither my husband nor I are having any itching or other issues (our skin always does get better in the spring and summer, when the humidity in our area is higher). So, I can't comment how well this would do on wool or 100% silk, but it worked fine with our "everyday" laundry - and with the 64 oz. size I will not need to search for more for a LOOONG time :) !

Best detergent
Peacock alley suggested this detergent. It works well removing stains and although it’s pricey, our clothes look cleaner and smell better without the chemicals tearing up our nice clothes

A very good product for your Silks and other delicate clothing.
I have been using this silk and delicates White Flowers scent cleaner for several years. It costs more than your standard laundry soap cleaner but well worth the longevity of your silks and hand wash only delicates.

What is best for your delicates?
This is the best for delicates: undies, knits, nylon, blouses, t-shirts, you name it. My clothes last longer, get cleaner, and leave no residue. And they smell terrific! I have used this product for over 20 years and will swear by it. I use it in my HD washer with lots of water and even use the soak cycle. Put a little on the collar area to get rid of grime or makeup.

Overpowering scent, not at all like the Lavender
I purchased the Lavender version of the silk & lingerie wash and loved everything about it. Excellent for removing stains and to wash my delicate woollens & cashmeres, and the scent was lovely and not too strong. It's been out of stock for ages now, so when I saw the regular scent was on offer, I hurried to purchase 2x 64 oz bottles. I was not prepared for how overwhelming the scent is. I have chronic migraine as it is, so strong scents are a no-go. I'm so disappointed! Would dilute it with other unscented delicate wash, but it says on the bottle this detergent shouldn't be mixed with other brands. I don't know if this is true, of just marketing. I'd have to dilute it many times over to make it tolerable anyway. I'm really disappointed. Have written Le Blanc directly to ask what they advise.
