Seems pretty durable to me! For reference I'm 5'2 and 165 lbs and it fit me perfectly. But also somehow, it fit my thin 13 year old cousin, too. Looked fantastic on both of us!

Looks just like the pictures. I cut the fringe off mine because that's not my style, which makes it obvious that the actual jingly part is much more of a belt than a hip scarf; it's only about 6 inches wide. But it's very loud when used, which was the main reason I bought it, and the coins are a lovely antique bronze color that I've never seen on another hip scarf.I do wish the decorated length was a bit longer; I have 45" hips and there's a good 8"-10" non-jingly gap where it's tied, but that's pretty standard for these kinds of hip scarves unfortunately. It definitely doesn't make it unusable; I just wear it with the ties in the front so the jingle coins sit on my hips and it does its job just fine. Just be aware if you're on the larger side that it might not have the coverage you would like.

The order definitely came faster then I expected, and it actually is pretty nice look for the price you get it for, it's pretty light weight, but that is positive side for those who don't like wearing heavy materials. I'm giving this a four rating, due to some minor issues of the peices where the beads are, that were sewn on are looser then the others in my order, but I can always fix it with more thread. Other then that, it's really nice!

This is the second hip scarf I bought. The red one has been great. The black one started falling apart the first time I danced. Just a couple pieces, but continued each time worn. Because I only dance at home I chose to keep it.

I've used this scarf three times for my belly dancing class and nothing got loose as someone wrote in their review. It is even prettier in person. It fit my size 16/18 body but the coins didn't reach all the way around. My husband loved this belt when he saw me in it. I got this in the brown and like I said it is prettier in person. The colors are richer and all of the beads, coins and tassel seem to be of great quality.

Looks nice but not exactly made with care. The top line of beads started falling off during practice the first time I wore it.

decorated section is smaller than expected, XL was not available, so I bought a second one to sew together to elongate this one about 8 inches. This is a very unique and beautiful velvet based hip scarf for belly dance, and it's just lovely!

Arrivée à temps. Très belle. Le seul hic est que même si la ceinture est longue, il y a une bonne portion de celle-ci qui n'a pas les décorations. Donc si vous êtes un peu forte de taille, les décorations ne feront pas le tour au complet même si la ceinture attache et qu'il reste beaucoup de tissus qui pend.
