Works exactly as it says. Follow instructions properly and it will be faultless. Adapter doesn’t damage your hoods unless you’re a moron.

Long story short, my disc brake caliper pistons weren't moving at all. Brake lever very spongey. This piece of kit revealed there was surplus air in the brake fluid / caliper - and it fixed the problem. Easy to use. Saved me an expensive trip to the bike shop.

More expensive than many kits. The calliper block was too thick for my XT brakes

The Epic Kit does the job and I managed to Bleed my Brakes. The downside is that although the Kit that I received is rated to fit Shimano Ultegra Hydraulic Calipers the Plastic Spacer was oversize and did not go into the Caliper and the Hose Lock didn't fit over the Bleed Nipple and thus keep it secure. I solved the First Problem by making a Wooden Spacer and the Second Problem by holding the Bleed Hose onto the Nipple when bleeding the Brakes. So ... I got the job done successfully but had to create a 'Work-Around' to achieve that success!

For Di2 Ultegra levers and callipers from 2016, spot on. I read another review that claimed the block to put between the pistons, didn't fit. It does. I expect they either bought the wrong kit, didn't remove the pads, or failed to push the cylinders back. Another review claimed the thread damaged the lever, it's the correct size thread so only a cross-thread and force would cause this. So unless you find the branded Shimano kit at a better price, this is just fine.

Read a couple of previous reviews noting caution with the road shifter adaptor having stripped the shifter bleed port threads.On arrival this was immediately confirmed. The adaptor is hard cheap metal and the thread pitch simply does not match the bleed port properly. Perhaps there is a batch that is poorly machined but the thread resistance after half a turn caused me to stop before damage was done - not a chance you want to take on a few hundred quids worth of Ultegra hydraulic shifters.Had to order the OEM Shimano plastic adaptor separately and it screwed in perfectly smoothly and without any force at all. The funnel from this kit works with the OEM adaptor fine.The kit was delivered quickly and the rest of it performs well but impossible to recommend the road shifter adaptor - not suitable for the job.

This product saved me about 120 quid, just by me watching YouTube and bleeding my disc brakes myself, great item, good value for money and fast delivery.

First time trying to service the brakes on my son's bike and great to have easy to follow instructions and a kit that makes it so easy. Would definitely recommend this kit.
