Hunter Fan Company, 99106, 1.9 Receiver Hunter Small

Easy to install if you can use a breaker box, screwdriver and wire nuts. Ordered this model as a replacement for a failed K243111000 receiver that had a bad neutral on the lights. I was able to pair a K6266-01 remote with it (the old fan remote) by powering off all my other fans in the house and then pressing the "pair" button hidden inside the remote battery compartment about 5 seconds after I turned on the new controller / fan. So far so great! Hopefully it will last a few years

It lasted one season. I paid an electrician to install it and the next season it’s not working already. Very disappointing. I contacted Hunter for troubleshooting and it still didn’t work. They wanted me to take down the fan and take it apart to troubleshoot. Not something I can do.

Did not work for our application, but that’s my own fault. Trust the fine print: this won’t work with other Hunter controllers if you aren’t replacing the exact same unit. I can’t comment on like-for-like replacement.

Great fix for the flickering light and stalling fan! $20 fix for a $150 fan! Fix took all of about 20 minutes and works as it should now!

After wiring up the device there was no way to connect to our wifi. The Hunter App kept wanting to find a 'remote' and this is not the external remote style control. There is not a QR code for the Hunter App to register the device. Alexa/Echo could not find it as a new device. How was I supposed to register it on our wifi network for connection? Instructions were useless to help troubleshoot this issue and after wasting 2 hours in fan disassembly and testing it is being returned. If you enjoy rediscovering how your fan is wired, then please give this a try, otherwise this is a waste of your time.

We have a Hunter fan that is up about 10' and has always been a remote operated fan. This was not a conversion from pulls to remote. We had originally bought a receiver that turned out to be for conversions - it had an extra wire that there wasn't anywhere to connect to. This receiver is the one to use to replace a nonworking receiver in a 5 Series Hunter remote operated fan. Works great and we are very pleased. It also costs a whole lot less than ordering from Hunter and besides, Hunter wouldn't have them in stock until August or September.Edit: I have read some reviews that say you must use an app for this receiver to work. We are using the plain old non-app remote control that came with the fan with no issues.

Hay personas que dicen que no se conecta por internet o wifi... La señal es infrarrojo, obviamente no va a trabajar con ninguna aplicación ni con un módem, lo dice claramente la descripción. Funcionó perfectamente y se emparejó con el control anterior en el primer intento. Excelente producto.
