He is a 15-week old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd. Setup--It was easy to install the battery. There are two little vibrating \"knobs\" that were already installed, but it also comes with another set in the box. There was a bit of confusion on our part what the other set was for, since the instructions didn't indicate that there was a pair already installed. This part is on the opposite side of the speaker box and goes against the dog's throat. It's important that the collar not be put on too tight and is one-finger tight as these \"knobs\" rest against the dog's throat. Results--The very first day that we put this on him, the beeping/vibrating scared him, and he hid under the sofa and had to be coaxed out. The adjustable collar doesn't really stay snug on him, especially when he moves around. Maybe because his neck is too small? We got it to stay for the most part by looping the the excess material around the collar, so it doesn't loosen. He seems to have gotten accustomed to it after a week, although he still will bark 3 times before it starts the sequence of beeping/vibrating. As mentioned earlier, we've only been using it for a week, so we'll see how it continues to work going forward.--Update 6/23/19--PawPets kindly reached out to me, and I've included the image that they shared. By following this, the collar shouldn't loosen with activity.
