Perfect fit, easy to install
For about 1/5th of the travel charge of an AC tech this part resolved fan and compressor not starting on my heat pump.

fixed the compressor not turning on
- make sure to use stranded wire rated for 220v not solid core wire. Use the new wire to replace ALL of the shorted wire, even if it is not shorted down the wire, replace as much of it as possible. Use wire nuts rated for 220v.DO NOT OVERINSULATE OR USE ELECTRICAL TAPE, TOO MUCH PLASTIC WILL MELT AT 220V AND CAN CAUSE A FIRE HAZARD. WIRE NUTS ARE DESIGNED WITH FIRE RETARDANT MATERIAL TO PUT OUT THE SHORT CIRCUIT FIRE.- Also replace the contactor because it is cheap and it could also be defective from a short from the bad capacitor.- Clean the condenser coils and change your AC duct filter! A high amp draw from the dirty dirty condenser outside will run a compressor hot and eventually blow the capacitor and possibly the expensive compressor itself. Also, capacitors don't last forever! Average lifespan is aprox 3-6 years.- Check for leaks and find a cheap service call for ac with diagnostics included for $75 bucks to see if your refrigerant levels are low or high. The piping for these units often runs through areas of your home that you can't see.

Fixed my HVAC problem and saved $$ - be sure to check for a reset button!
I traced the problem to the capacitor and tested it after watching a YouTube video (Be careful they should be treated as LIVE all the time). I replaced it but my system still would not start... until I found the "reset" button on the lower panel of the unit. It had been tripped when the capacitor blew. My HVAC is kinda industrial and had this reset button, not sure if residential systems have this or not? Nice that you can get a part like this saving a lot of $$ since you cannot buy these locally in many states unless you have a contractors license.

Saves me HVAC Service Calls
The most common reasons for HVAC service calls are plugged condensation lines, bad capacitors, and low Freon. My units go through caps frequently so I keep a couple of these on hand to avoid calls, and so far over the course of several years I've saved well in excess of $1k. Replacing these is easy as long as you disconnect the power (high voltage!!) and are careful to not short the cap terminals. These fit perfectly in my Lennox systems. I generally try to use a higher voltage rating capacitor (440 vs. 370) with the same capacitance since the higher voltages should (theoretically) last longer, but this time I went with the 370 to see how long it would last. Great product & shipped fast.

The length of the capacitor is important, the received one is too long.
The length of the capacitor is important, the received one is too long, no problem with functionality. The vendor needs to specify length in order to the customer to buy the proper length one. Good product anyway.

Just what I needed.
My outdoor fan wouldn't click on during the winter. I had a tech come out and he got it running again. It switched off again and I decided to check out what youtube had to say. Turns out that the issue was (90%) a bad capacitor. I took all the safety precautions and switched out the part myself. I then had a tune-up done (just to have my work double-checked) and it works like a charm! This part was right on the money.
